The best restaurants in Midleton

09/05/2025: Stopped in on our way to the Midleton Distillery Experience. Had a great lunch. It's beautifully decorated and the food was very good.

30/04/2025: The food was absolutely amazing (risotto and hash brown fries) and customer service was excellent. Fine-dining experience for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area to give this place a try!

09/05/2025: House Black Beef Burger was amazing. I was very glad we decided to have dinner here. We went without reservations so had to wait a little while, but it was worth the wait.

27/04/2025: The best pizza in Middleton and Maybe even all of cork. Sauce was so fresh and the pizza base and crust was Devine and I’m not even a crust person but the the crusts were top tear. It came very quickly and wasn’t busy in the slightest. staff was great too. Will be back can’t believe I never came sooner.

27/03/2025: Got food for lunch today in Salinas and couldn't be happier, was delicious and so so fresh got a mixed platter of their meats beautiful handmade kofta and the dips were devine. Will for sure be going back again and would recommend to anyone a lucky spot to have in Midleton if I could give it 6 stars I would

07/04/2025: I found this place via Google and would highly recommend. The breakfast was delicious, the white pudding especially! Staff were so kind and friendly plus super efficient. Absolute value for money to! If you're in Midleton this place is worth the stop!

25/03/2025: There is a selection of light lunch options. We arrived mid afternoon and the selection of cakes had been reduced by a busy lunchtime. We recommend visiting this cafe in the morning so that you can enjoy choosing from the full range of sweet treats available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a covered outdoor eating area, a real bonus if you have a dog with you, so that you can still enjoy a cuppa and cake in the dry.

30/04/2025: It was my first time there and it was really lovely. Not too big yet plenty of space. Staff were extremely helpful. We just had a simple breakfast and it was great. No loud music, just nice background music. Easy to chat. I will be back for definite.

16/04/2025: Some of the best food in Midleton with a strong variety of great dishes, very cozy atmosphere and staff that are always very kind and welcoming even during busy times. I find myself especially enjoying their music selection as well to boot. Would recommend to anyone living in the town or just passing through.

01/03/2025: Nicest hot chocolate I’ve ever had- both the regular milk chocolate and also the white chocolate one. They put giant marshmallows on top and toast them! Also the focaccia is amazing- both the Mediterranean one and the sea salt & rosemary one. Delicious!

05/05/2025: Thank you so much to all the team at Surf & Turf, East Cork Golf Club for hosting our wedding reception! Kasia and the girls were so easy to deal with, making an overwhelming time so much more relaxed. Myself and my husband got married abroad then honeymooned for nearly a month and only had a week at home to organise the reception. I believe if it was any other venue it would have been a nightmare. But the staff were so cool and calm, there was no fear! The decorations, layout and food was beyond perfection. All the guests, (including two professional chefs!) were blown away by how good the food was and how much of a selection we had in the menu. It was the talk of the evening (maybe even outshined the bride and groom! 😂) Every little detail and idea we had for our Japanese themed wedding reception they listened carefully and made our vision a reality, in fact even better than we imagined. My only regret is not relaxing more and trusting them to take over everything, they really knew exactly what to do to make the day perfect. We couldn’t fault a single thing, honestly! Surf and Turf will be our go to venue for all events and parties in the future. Thank you all again for everything Kasia, her husband and all the team at Surf & Turf.

08/04/2025: We returned here recently for the first time since they moved to East Cork Golf Club. It’s a lovely restaurant plenty of space, and nicely decorated. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. The food was excellent, we had the Chilli Prawns to share for starter and they were very nice indeed, and we both opted for the seafood platter which was splendid. If anything, there was too much food, so much so that we were unable to try a dessert! This is not a complaint! The restaurant was a little quiet, and hopefully this review will encourage more people to try it out. We highly recommend it, and will definitely be back. It won’t be so long before our next visit.

29/03/2025: A gem of a find in Midleton on a Saturday night for a party of 6 sisters. Cosy and intimate, lovely decor. Staff very knowledgeable on menu choices especially gluten and coeliac options. Food gorgeous and attention to detail perfect.

16/03/2025: Overnight stay while visiting the distillery which is a short walk into town. The bar and room were super clean and the furnishings upstairs made me feel like I was back at my Granny's house, which is good!

07/01/2025: Stayed here twice this year. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Showers had great water pressure. Anne and Brendan were great hosts. The bar downstairs is great. They serve a good pint. This is a fine location to walk into Midleton for great food. A nice walk to the distillery as well. We will be back again.
