Oct. 24, 2024 while we were vacationing in Ireland from Boston. We went to Roastie on the recommendation from a gentleman at the old Midleton Distilling shop. It was an excellent recommendation. We highly recommend while in Ireland if you’re visiting Midleton or driving thru stop and pay them a visit. The people there are excellent extremely friendly and polite. The atmosphere is great comfortable and relaxing. Our meals were fantastic every thing was hot and fresh.

27/10/2024: Our favourite place to eat when in Midleton. It doesn't matter what you order because everything is fantastic. Make sure you go hungry and go for the 3 courses, you don't want to miss anything 😉 fantastic staff as always and the owner is the perfect host.
26/10/2024: I cannot say enough good things about this place. The owner does alll the things - cooks, brings out food, talks to patrons - and you can tell he cares about his food and the people who eat here. Tons of celiac safe GF options all marked on the menu. I had the chicken shawarma. No joke - this was my top five favorite restaurant dishes of all time. Flavor was outstanding and food came out hot. Highly recommend something Middle-Eastern, as it’s clear that is their “home cooking.” Truly wonderful food and experience.

07/10/2024: Lovely meal on Friday evening, staff were friendly and food was delicious with clever use of local whiskey influences in their dishes. Restaurant was quite noisy but signs of everyone enjoying themselves. Staff apologised for noise which was out of their control

24/09/2024: The ultimate way you judge a restaurant is with it's food. Drove an hour on a tip. Food was just incredible and the chefs deserve as much praise as possible. Starter, Main, dessert were as good as each other. I didn't talk enough to my wife though because I couldn't stop enjoying the food. Still thinking about the Dahl.
22/06/2024: We had a nice dinner, booked table last minute, and it was worth it. Dinner for two is a bit more pricey, than other places in Midleton. But we had a two course with desserts, and one drink 🍸. The menu looks like its changing from timetotime, as they give you a print of, and waiting time is surprisingly good 👍
I can recommend the cauliflower croquettes and chicken skewers for starters, steak for main, and creme brulee as dessert.
The venue is not big, and sadly we couldn't enjoy the nice terrace outside due to a weather.

20/10/2024: Menu is massive. Quantity over quality for sure . Was served old chips. Tasted disgusting.🤢 Price is not great, 7 euro for a few small chicken dippers. Chicken in kebab was quite nice but Over all not worth the price plus wait times.
19/10/2024: 45 euro for 2 kids meals. A burger and curry chips. And a kebab chips. Kebab chips were absolutely soaking. Literally a pool of water. Soggy chips.over and hour for delivery. And all seems to be a lot smaller than previous orders. Shocking for the price

Just popped in for a quick pint, and I stayed for 4
It was my first time in since it was taken over 2 years ago.
It was as if I was in my local bar in the city.
Chatting with the bar tender and the locals as if I'd known them all my life, it was amazing. I really do 💯 recommend this place for a visit.

23/09/2024: Hands down the best chips I’ve ever eaten. I was a bit dubious about the price for the regular portion, I thought it was a lot at first, but then they gave me an enormous amount of chips, price definitely seemed fitting! Maybe they should have a small option.
