11/12/2025: What a great restaurant, we had a lovely meal here last night and the food was delicious Great staff ,very friendly and helpful.

29/11/2025: Had the most amazing family dinner here lastnight and I had to share the experience! We were a table of 8 people, some had starts and dessert, all had mains ! Everything was amazing, the service was brilliant , super friends and welcoming staff ! Service was perfectly timed that it wasn't too long or too quick for food either ! The flavours were out of the world! Even the mushroom soup which wouldn't be a first pick for me was insane! Will definitely be back again!

18/10/2025: While visiting from NM in the US we stumbled on this great place. The owners are very personable and professional. The pizza was great and it’s just a short walk from the Jameson Distillery.

25/12/2025: We stopped in after the Middleton Experience and these ladies were so welcoming and had amazing food! I got the assorted meat plate which was amazing and the ribs were great! They offered burgers, soups and salads that were all great and filling!

15/12/2025: Food was out standing. Staff were very friendly and efficient and could not be more helpful.

10/12/2025: We were a family of 24 staying overnight and attending the Christmas party. What a great night from start to finish. From the minute we arrived at check in the staff were so friendly and helpful. This is our 2nd Christmas staying here and we will definitely be back next year. A wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Thank you for making our weekend so memorable. All the rooms were beautiful too.

10/12/2025: The Talbot Midleton is a great hotel in a good location with a bus stop right outside. All of the staff that we met were friendly and professional whatever their job. We had lovely food in the bar and there was a good selection for breakfast. Our room was warm and comfortable. There is just one thing that I don't like and that is the shower curtain! A nice bath screen would be so much better. As repeat guests We once again totally enjoyed our stay and we'll be back. Thank you and well done everyone at the Talbot Midleton.

02/11/2025: I really enjoyed my meal here, the food was fantastic and the staff were incredible. The atmosphere was wonderful and the hand-painted art on the walls of the restaurant as well as on the stairs when going up were beautiful, the place seems like a real labour of love and it’s obvious every member of staff take huge pride in this restaurant. There are a large variety of options on the menu and the portions were huge! We were seated by the window and had a great view of the town, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly and made every effort to ensure we were all happy and didn’t need anything. One man in particular made an effort to chat with my family and even brought a complimentary dessert to celebrate my father’s birthday which was really kind, I wish we got his name because he was a very generous host. The lamb kofta was absolutely gorgeous and I will definitely be back to try more options on the menu as they all looked delicious and it was a struggle to pick just one. The menu also included vegetarian and vegan options so it’s suitable for pretty much anyone, as well as a play area for young kids which is very thoughtful. Thanks so much to all the staff for making a wonderful evening for my family, I have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be a returning customer!

04/08/2025: Will definitely be back for the Turkey & Ham, so delicious 🤤 The breakfast (all day?!?) was really lovely and €14 is a relatively okay price for the size and included tea. The waiters were really friendly and the outdoor seating is gorgeous

17/07/2025: I went there for dinner this evening with my daughter and husband. Both the starters and the main courses were super: my husband had a pan seared duck breast, my daughter had beef, and I had fish. The cheesecake: top choice! The staff is very kind and helpful! It was a very nice experience, thank you!

23/12/2025: I have been a long time customer of Pan but after the experience I received today I will never return. Headed there on our lunch break today ordered food no problem my food came after about 10 minutes and my friend was a further 30+ minutes waiting for her takeaway it was very evident the order was forgotten as ample people who had come after us had left before us. After asking the girl who took our order how long more we’d be waiting bare in mind she had gone on her lunch break and come back as we were already waiting over 30 minutes at this point she went to check and insisted it would be one minute a further 5/10 had passed and no sign. At this stage as I had ordered a toasted sandwich it was cold so I went to ask can it be reheated as I was still waiting for my friend. I saw the girl go tell the owner I would like my food reheated I saw him roll his eyes and storm off into the kitchen. I then proceeded after him and told him give me back my food if it was such an issue for a paying customer who had waited 35 minutes for a takeaway order to have the toasted sandwich (cold toast) reheated you then tried to insist you were trying to help me after you knew I had saw you rolling your eyes and giving out! You didn’t even have the actual decency to apologise after you handed me my food you had a horrible attitude. You put free soup in the bag which we never asked for I would of rathered an apology, If it wasn’t for the behaviour of yourself David I wouldn’t have even bothered to write this review as a business owner you should care more about customers perception of you. 45 minutes we waited in total for takeaway sandwiches and not even an apology!!

20/12/2025: always a great choice for lunch or breakfast. Its my go to place to meet friends. Food is lovely and staff are always friendly and very attentive.

21/12/2025: Probably the nicest chipper in Midleton, definitely the nicest chips. Very consistent and you get a decent amount of chips

02/08/2025: This was the perfect pub for me I was travelling alone I'd just ordered a drink and the staff and customers around made me feel like a regular I honestly can't wait to go back , if your in the area it's a place you need to visit

20/08/2025: I had a coffee, and saw what was called a Portuguese custard tart....pastel de nata.. which I must say was horrible. It was dry, no lemon zest taste and absolutely no cinnamon won't be back

10/08/2025: Overall it's a nice cafe with good potential and very comfortable seating options. The cappuccino was good and the overall atmosphere was nice. My biggest criticism is the place was freezing cold as they leave the door open even on cold mornings which is ridiculous. The place looked good in terms of cleanliness except some of the tables needed a deeper clean. Staff were friendly and professional enough. Would I return?......yes, if they closed the door and turned on the heating.

01/11/2025: Firstly, a huge thank you to Brendan. My return from last year for 3 wonderful nights and plan to return next year. Supremely clean and comfortable rooms. A cozy traditional pub lies below rooms. A few minute walk into Midelton town centre. A 3 minute walk to train station which will have you into Cork City Centre in 22 minutes. Thanks to a terrific staff and the friendly locals who frequent this gem of a pub.

19/09/2025: What a place, super clean bed & breakfast with a friendly well run bar downstairs. Brendan the owner is a super nice guy. We had some great chats. The breakfast was very generous, lots of local produce on the menu, rashers & sausages etc. The bar stocks Blacks Beer & the best selection of Stonewell Ciders I've seen in a bar that size. Also the obligatory locally produced Midleton Whiskey
