15/12/2024: Absolutely fabulous. We eat here last night as a party of 5. Food was superb. We all had different dishes and clear plates all round. We were staying in a hotel and had eaten in hotel on the fri night paid a lot more for out meal which was nowhere near as good as Dark horse. I wish we'd eaten in the dark horse both nights. While in the Dark horse 3 different staff asked was everything ok. If I'm back to athlone I will definitely be eating here. Excellent food and service. Keep up the good work. Outstanding food.

12/12/2024: Food was very very greasy, burgers had nothing on them but red sauce and onion, although we had asked for everything! After spending €60 we were really disappointed! Wouldn't be rushing back or recommending sorry

23/11/2024: After an intense painting session at Elevate, where I’m currently working on a mural, hunger hit hard. I nipped across the road to Supermac’s in Athlone and was absolutely delighted with their fish and chips. The cod was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside—and paired with fresh, golden chips. Just what I needed to recharge! The service was quick, and the staff were friendly, making the experience even better. If you're in Athlone, I highly recommend stopping by Supermac’s for a meal.
