The best restaurants in Skerries

01/04/2024: We had two starters, a glass of wine and a cappuccino and it was a few cent under €40. The Food was lovely but I think €7.50 is way too high for a glass of wine. It's not like we were in temple bar or in a place that had live music.

01/10/2023: Friday night takeaway I ordered from the new Indian restaurant in town. We got a vindaloo, a tikka masala, and two garlic naan breads. The price was reasonable, and the food was tasty. The naan breads were a bit small, it would be great if they could look to increase there size. Rather then getting a takeaway I would recommend people eat inside the restaurant as it is decorated so tastyfully and stylish inside

18/11/2023: The new manager Patrick is an absolute delight, he brings life into the bar with his amazing customer service and looks after everyone! Delighted with him being the new manager♥️

18/10/2023: Nice cosy front bar which is more my style, going for a dark hipster thing in the larger bar, not my thing but I am sure it may appear to younger people

09/03/2024: The service provided by this restaurant was humiliating and disrespectful. Despite having made a reservation, the table was delivered late, and to compensate, we were offered beers that were not our preferred brand, but we accepted as a kind gesture. However, upon receiving the bill, we noticed that the complimentary beers were included and requested their removal. The waitress apologized and informed someone who claimed to be a manager, who returned to our table with aggressive body language, as well as verbally, questioning the situation. We explained again, already embarrassed, but he refused to remove the charge, stating "that's how it works in restaurants. You consume, you pay," as if we were not familiar with the basic functioning of such an establishment. Perhaps it is unusual for him to see a multiracial gay couple in his restaurant, but for us, it is a common occurrence. Unfortunately, we chose to pay and leave that extremely humiliating environment. Answering your reply: First of all, he is not my friend, he is my husband, my family. I went, not for the first time, with my family to your restaurant. I don’t know if it was you who came to our table, but someone acting as a manager did. I am sure I am talking about the right place. I left the restaurant yesterday at 20:30, so if you want to check who was in charge, you can verify it. I keep thinking about the didactic statement I received yesterday explaining that things are like this in restaurants, you consume you pay, as if my husband (my family) and I were trying to get away with two beers. You didn’t even offer your apologies, I can see no reason to reconsider my review so far.

09/03/2024: We used to really enjoy going to this place. This evening however went really badly. We arrived for our booking and our table was not yet ready, the waiters told us we could stay at the back. Since there was a delay, they offered us a drink “on the house”. Multiple times the waiter said the this round was on the house. When the time came to pay, they had put the drinks on the bill. I kindly reminded another waitress that we had been told that these drinks we one the house. A few minutes later, the manager it seems, came to our table with an accusatory tone, telling us “like in every restaurant, when you order you pay” and made us feel very uncomfortable as of we were lying or stealing. We felt very uncomfortable and he was unfriendly. We really wanted to enjoy our friday night out. This spoilt it. It’s the first time we feel as uncomfortable in a restaurant in Ireland. We won’t be coming again. Answer to your comment: Definitely your restaurant in Skerries. Might not have been the manager but this happened. VERY disappointed.

28/03/2024: The owner is a lovely lady, so friendly. The food and coffee are good and not a rip-off like most places in skerries .

24/03/2024: Dropped in here a few times Ona Sunday morning for breakfast. Service good, food tasty. Would recommend.
