23/01/2026: After more than 10 years in Galway, Rouge remains my go-to for an exceptional meal and a true taste of France in Ireland.
The starters are wonderfully original—four different tasting bites perfect for sharing with friends. I typically order the fillet with gratin dauphinois, and it's always a delight. The wine selection consistently impresses, and I usually go with the owner's recommendations. They really know their wines.
For dessert, the chocolate dome is an absolute must-try!
It's also the perfect spot for a romantic evening in a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely joyful. I can even speak French with some of them, which is a lovely touch!
The price point is honestly very reasonable for Galway, especially considering it includes a full three-course meal of exceptional quality.

13/01/2026: I come here a few weeks ago with my wife and my kids, we think what a lovely place to have lunch.
The food was good and the waitress very kind. The only big problem was the landlord who was torturer with his staff, it's was very embarassing for everyone. I can't imagine what it will be to work with this type of boss, I work in restauration and I never see that type of behavior. I can't imagine what it can be when there are no costumers.
I can't recommand this type of restaurant when I see landlord like this.
15/12/2025: Very nice place, good crepes, I can't wait to try another! The coffee is also pretty good.
