The best restaurants in Clarinbridge

04/12/2024: The food at this restaurant was absolutely lovely, and the waitresses were nothing short of amazing—friendly, attentive, and kind. However, the atmosphere was completely ruined by the behavior of a blonde woman, who we later found out is named Mary. Mary’s attitude towards her staff was appalling. She was openly rude, giving them dirty looks and even screaming at them in front of customers. It was uncomfortable to witness and left us feeling very sorry for the hardworking staff who clearly deserve better. My husband asked one of the waitresses about her, and that’s how we learned her name. It’s such a shame that the wonderful service provided by the waitresses and the quality of the food were overshadowed by this unprofessional and unpleasant behavior. Unfortunately, this experience has altered our view of the restaurant, and we’re not sure we’d return unless changes are made. No one should have to work under those conditions, and customers certainly shouldn’t have to see it either.

04/12/2024: I was told by many locals to visit paddy burkes as it was a home treasure. On my trip up the wild Atlantic way I knew it was a must to stop in here for a meal and a pint. The food was fantastic and the floor staff was even better. Very attentive and very helpful. It was a pity to have the experience ruined by the atmosphere caused by one person. A blonde lady that I believe is the manager completely threw off the entire atmosphere in the business. To very clearly hear the way she speaks to staff and portrays herself inside the place is appalling and should be rectified ASAP! Besides from that one women, I could not recommend paddy burkes more as it gave us a little sense of home away from home!
