The best restaurants in Loughrea legal town

01/07/2025: 2yrs ago I visited Weavers and had scone&coffee and as I had eaten dinner there 3 times in few months and wasn't impressed, I decided never again.... So two years later...On end june 2025, myself and a friend called in for dinner and the place looked lovely and more cosy, the staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful as they always are and the food was delicious. I had beef stroganoff with rice&chips and my friend had beef with gravy, chips&salad. (Chips here are moreish) Both dinners were Yum! We then ordered chocolate cake,icecream,cream and tiramisu,icecream,cream and coffee. Both again were delicious. Really delighted that Weavers have upped their game and I will be meeting more friends there soon.

25/05/2025: Really poor food, frozen breaded mushrooms, frozen "spicy" chicken wings. Went on good recommendations. Wouldn't recommend for those foods in particular can't speak about the rest on offer. Waitress was really nice

28/05/2025: The place is huge, has lots of space, and has a great friendly vibe. The sandwiches were amazing, and the coffee, top notch. Best spot in town.

03/06/2025: Service was great, staff were really friendly and helpful. We did not have food ourselves but what we witnessed being delivered to nearby tables looked amazing. Large portions. As I said we were only there for drinks but will definitely return to try the food and for all the Guiness drinkers out there this is definitely the place to drink it in Lough Rea.

27/04/2025: Absolutely delightful Cafe. Loved the coffee and the Italian pastries were divine. Loved the passion that they had for the coffee which they roast on-site. Lovely to sit outside with a view of the Green and the lake. Definitely one to recommend

21/06/2025: Had a coffee and sandwich here and while the coffee and food was lovely the behaviour of some patrons kids was not. Allowed to play chase all around the cafe. Would not be keen to go back.

01/07/2025: Tuesday night and quiet so atmosphere is not an issue. The girl behind bar was very friendly and helpful. Food not had. Drink prices extremely good. Spend per person was an average of €5.50 for a pint

30/04/2025: We visited this restaurant on Saturday for a meal we won as a Christmas prize. Having been to this restaurant many times when I lived in Loughrea town, it was always one of my favorites. Although I hadn't been there in quite a while since moving out of town, I was thrilled to find that it still exceeds expectations! The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our meal. Each course was a delight, with mouth-watering flavors that left us craving more. The ambiance was perfect, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. This restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience!
