17/02/2026: I visited Chandpur Restaurant on 17th January 2026 with my family after stopping at Donegal Castle while returning to Dublin. The service we received was disappointing and unprofessional. The waiter was not welcoming, and his attitude made us feel uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. When we started ordering, we were told to “order everything at once because the chef cannot keep preparing your orders.” This was not a polite request — it felt dismissive and disrespectful. Customers should not be instructed in this manner or made to feel like an inconvenience. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, not rushed or judged. Management seriously needs to review staff behavior and service standards, as this experience did not reflect basic customer service expectations. Giving note for your review, we visited your restaurant sometime between 5 to 6 PM on 17th January 2026.

25/11/2025: Booked in here for the Saturday night that we were staying in Donegal Town and it was lucky we had booked as the place was packed! Very unassuming spot from the outside but we had a lovely meal and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive the whole evening and made sure we were taken care of. All of the food was delicious but some of the highlights were, the Chicken Tikka Pathia, Lamb Rogan Josh and Peshwari Naans.

24/11/2025: we enjoyed our food big time, portion size was class, Sakil is a top man - see you next time!
