04/11/2024: Lovely place for a dinner. Always leave feeling so full the staff are so kind and always asking if everything is ok. THE FOOD is amazing any time I’ve had anything I always leave happy. I love a good spicy dish and Oran tandoori has great choices.

14/10/2024: Did a take away from Nokshi and had a very disappointing taste experience. Mushroom Bhaji was very bland and extremely watery. Felt like I was eating boiled mushrooms. Daal tarka was plain and basic and again, bland.

26/10/2024: This was our first time in Spiced Bearna. Unacceptable waiting times to get food to take away. After telling us to wait 40 minutes for our order, they made us wait an extra 40 minutes more in the restaurant, which was very much empty by the way. No apologies. Just a "we are very busy" today (??). The food was average and overpriced. Do not waste your time and pick a different place.

27/10/2024: Tasty food overall but we waited over 40 min for our order. I would think it to be basic courtesy to make customers aware how long they will have to wait for their food especially if it's more than 25-30 min
25/10/2024: We went here for the Taste of Oranmore special in which we had samosas and chicken tikka to start and then got main the Morgi Makhanwala signature dish. Both courses were full of flavour! The owner Robin was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back!

07/12/2024: Visited here with family, very very disappointed, the restaurant was so busy with take outs and was very short staffed. We waited 1hour and a half for main course which was Luke warm, weren't even presented with cutlery. No one approached our table to see if everything was ok.
When we said it to the waiter he was quite rude. Wouldn't return here again. He in return said that is your choice.
28/10/2024: The worst Indian food I have ever had. We ordered a range of curries from chicken balti, chicken tikka balti, chana bhuna, lamb bhuna and tarka dhal. All of the curries were a bright orange colour, in a watery sweet sauce. They all tasted the same. The naan bread was stale and old. We called the restaurant to complain and they basically told us to deal with it and that they have never had a complaint after 20 years. That’s not what their Google reviews seem to say, it seems like everyone had the same experience as us. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but can’t believe the service we recieved after spending over €100. There is nothing authentic about this place. If you want old, stale, flavourless food which will get you unwell then this is the place to visit

13/10/2024: Lovely restaurant. Had dinner here recently with a friend as we were passing through Loughrea. Delicious food and really excellent service (best restaurant service I've experienced). Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend and will hopefully return again sometime.

31/10/2024: Got a takeaway. Ignored the poor reviews as have eaten here before twice a few years ago and enjoyed the food, however…..
There was an offer of 20% off, I hadn’t understood that I was to pay the full amount but only receive 80% of the order.
My vegetable jalfrezi was lovely but the 5 lumps of re-heated lamb in a liquid (too watery to be a sauce) looked and by all accounts was unpalatable, the chicken version of the same tikka masala dish was only slightly improved by having 7 chunks of more tender meat. Not a vegetable in sight, not even a slice of onion! The lamb kahari was omitted so I cannot comment on it.
The pilau rice we ordered was only boiled basmati with a few weird pink bits here and there, no spices at all and the paratha was a complete let down.
I can only assume the restaurant is under new management. I hope they change again soon.
