The best restaurantsof indian in Galway

16/02/2024: Beautiful restaurant and very welcoming staff. However, unfortunately the food was terrible. We visited upon recommendation & were very disappointed. The butter chicken was watery and tasteless as were the other curries, portion sizes were tiny that we left hungry and we were then overcharged. One person at our table chose not to eat as the curries were watery and the sauce was seperate and unappetising. We highlighted the issue with the dishes and being charged double but were dismissed. Based on other reviews it seems we were here on a very bad night and it's unfortunate being newly local. Unfortunately we won't return and feel quite ripped off.

14/02/2024: A rainy night and indian is a magical combo for me! Order onion bhaji as a starter, which was yummy! The caramelized onions and creamy potatoes with spices awakened the taste buds! It was a 8/10! Then started the real deal with lamb vindaloo and garlic naan! "Vindaloo was terrible, didn't felt even a hint of vinegar and what potato is doing in a vindaloo" too spicy no flavour! It's a definite 4/10! 4 is just for lamb eventhough it was a bit chewy! NO WHISKEY GLASS FOR A PEG! Service was okay! Felt a bit biased and quite casual for the ambience! Overall it was "okay"!

01/01/2024: Been ordering here for 9 years and was met with the most disrespect on the phone when asking about why I only got 2 poppadoms when I order 2 portions of them. Refused to let me speak and when my partner took the phone he quietened down. Exist and rude, uncooperative and a rip off. The Palak was the better one. Pity they had family issues and closed down.
