04/06/2025: Just enjoyed a very tasty meal in Daata. From the friendly greeting from Jamie as we arrived, to the super service and fabulously tasty food we’ll definitely be back! Thank you guys
23/05/2025: Shocking delivery service, never on time. Tonight was an hour early from a scheduled time and now an hour late!
Whoever runs the delivery service should be sacked

Pink Salt
Bray
05/06/2025: Had an early (5:00 pm) dinner on a Saturday. We were the only ones present. The restaurant was fully booked between 6:00 a. 8:00 and turned away a group of 3 who showed up
Around 5:30 because they needed the table for reservations within the hour. It was very quiet when we were there, but i imagine it can get noisy when full. The chairs were very comfortable. Nicely decorated interior
29/05/2025: One of the top notch Indian flavours you’d find in the area!!!! I’d even go as far as saying it’s in the best of league with Ananda, Monsoon, Chakra, Street by Sunil and Pickle!
Proper “desi” food with great presentation.
Highly recommend, going to be my regular place to visit or for delivery.
We’ve tried masala prawn (5star), butter chicken, veg thali, gobhi munchurian, bhindi do pyaza and lassi - all good options.
The service is brilliant with very kind servers and owner also presented a lovely gesture of complimentary veg platter - which by the way was awesome.

24/05/2025: Graduation Dinner or Great Masala Mystery?
We were out celebrating a major milestone—our son graduating high school! Spirits were high, and so were our expectations as we walked into this well-reviewed Indian restaurant. The playlist was playing desi tunes, the staff were warmly welcoming (and Indian!), and the décor leaned elegant—not kitschy Bollywood. Promising start.
We ordered a celebratory spread: Chakra Thali, North Indian Thali, Punjabi Chole, soft drinks for the graduate, a touch of rosé for my wife, red wine for myself, and kulfi to seal the meal. A feast fit for a proud moment.
But then, the first subtle red flag—not a single Indian patron in sight. A full house, yet we seemed to be the only ones who might’ve grown up with actual masala dabba in the kitchen. We exchanged a look. Cautious optimism turned into culinary curiosity.
The North Indian Thali arrived... and well, let’s just say it could’ve been confused for dessert. A sweetness that left us wondering if the chef had confused halwa with curry. It wasn’t bad—it was just confusing, like a Bollywood movie with French subtitles and a surprise twist ending.
And then came the Masala Chai Moment.
Now, I don’t play games with chai. I double-checked with the server—“Is this real masala chai? Not just fancy tea in disguise?” Affirmative nod. I leaned back, awaiting a warm, spiced elixir of comfort.
What I got instead was... a pot of tea with floating masala tea bags and some milk tossed in like an afterthought. A beverage betrayal. I gently asked for it to be taken away. The server returned with the final twist: "This is how we make masala chai."
That was the plot twist I didn’t sign up for.
All said, the staff were kind, the kulfi was lovely, and the milestone was well celebrated. But if you’re going here expecting the soulful flavors of a proper Indian kitchen, prepare for a bit of culture shock. Next time, I’ll just BYOC—bring your own chai!!
12/05/2025: Amazing food, it really was outstanding. . fantastic service, all staff were really lovely and friendly, Mia was our waitress and was so nice. Would highly recommend.

Wok Star
Arklow
31/05/2025: Poor / Average Food
Poor quality food / poor wines
Butter chicken was overly sweet
Prawn Jalfrezi overly spicy
Chicken wings in sweet and sour sauce
Pilau rice was poor
I’m not sure if I liked anything about this place
Poor tasting wine
Poor seating/ tables and benches made from pallet wood
The owner should take a trip into Daata Bray and see and sample their food
18/05/2025: Our decent indian restaurant in the area here. Haven't failed me once, so far, seems like quality is the priority here.

Dhaka House

06/06/2025: This place used to be my go-to, but tonight was so disappointing. The food (takeaway collection) was cold, dripping with oil and had no flavour. For the price we paid, we won't be returning.

Spice Village Indian Restaurant
Blessington
15/05/2025: Have had food h many times here ,enjoy it ,but something has changed as went for site down meal and after 20mins waiting and going and asking for a menu I gave up and walked out ,more interested in take away than people who want to dine in
12/05/2025: I'm very sorry that I can't give less than 1 star.
This place shouldn't be called a restaurant.
Came back again after few years of first disappointment.
Nothing better.
I had to wait at an empty table for over 30 minutes after placing my order.
No ordered drinks or complimentary snacks.
Very slow service.
Got my bottle of Cobra beer (€5 for sml bottle?) together with portion of pappadams and my starter at the same time.
I love Indian food but food in this place that's disaster.
Chicken mango curry taste like dessert
( extremely sweet), lamb curry a bit better except the rubbery meat.
Small portions of curry very expensive with no rice included.
Small cup of rice ( not enough for adult)
extra €3.50.
Pan fried naan bread looks more like roti or chapati very skinny and flat.
Staff nor very friendly and not helpful at all.
Our table was very messy, full of empty, unused and unwanted plates and glasses.
The waiters didn't bother to remove them before they start serving our food and didn't clean the table when we finished.
If I ordered dessert, I would have to hold the plate on my lap.
At 10pm waiter told us that if we need anything else we have to order now as kitchen will be closed at 10.30pm.
10 minutes later I asked him if I can get 2 mango lassi for take away but he refused and said it was too late. Seriously?
For 1 starter, 2 mains+ rice, small kids portion of curry and couple soft drinks had to pay over €80. I went home still a bit hungry.
I won't go there again.

Indian Spice

18/02/2025: I just do not understand the good reviews, every dish in this place is made with Campbells tomato soups. It’s so obvious. We accidentally ordered from here after avoiding it for years and lo and behold it was just soup with chicken lumps. Don’t bother. There is another local Indian that is so good we have ordered two nights in a row.
28/10/2024: My favourite Indian in the town
