Not to mention the great staff that made the Evening lovely

07/10/2024: Lovely meal on Friday evening, staff were friendly and food was delicious with clever use of local whiskey influences in their dishes. Restaurant was quite noisy but signs of everyone enjoying themselves. Staff apologised for noise which was out of their control

23/09/2024: Hands down the best chips I’ve ever eaten. I was a bit dubious about the price for the regular portion, I thought it was a lot at first, but then they gave me an enormous amount of chips, price definitely seemed fitting! Maybe they should have a small option.

18/03/2024: I received a gift voucher for The Black Barrel in Midleton for Christmas 2023. The Black Barrel has been closed every day since Christmas even though their website can take reservations but any reservation I have made is cancelled last minute. I have tried to ring and send emails to The Black Barrel on many occasions but I am unable to get in contact with the staff. I'm not sure what the owners of The Black Barrel are at, some communication would be great.

07/07/2024: Lovely spot for a light meal. Everything is nice and fresh, really friendly and helpful staff.
If you have dietary restrictions, the chef will even prepare something for you from scratch.
We'll come back.
