24/12/2025: greatest bar in all of donegal - really nice people, food is incredible, solid guinness, and the people are very very nice!!! highly recommend

08/01/2026: I went to the highlands hotel quite a few times now for my work travelling. Staff are really friendly and nice. Room is decent and comfortable. As a French guy maybe I have really high standards for food but drinks and starters and mains are really good (thaï curry is average, should remove it from menu). Desserts are mid for my opinion it’s a shame but overall very nice hotel and experience.
