30/05/2024: Went to a Celtic night at the Boardwalk and had an amazing evening, especially thanks to the lovely bartender named Louise. She made incredible cocktails - and mocktails, while being very kind and helpful. Very nice place to try it you stay in Dublin for a couple of nights.

05/05/2024: We’ve been staying here on and off for about 20 years and I’m afraid on our last few stays, the experience hasn’t been as good as it used to be. It’s still an impressive, huge bar but it used to have fairy lights everywhere making it more magical. Some of the staff both at reception and in the bar seem a bit fed up but not all of them. The rooms haven’t changed at all so although comfortable, they really could do with being updated. Impressive reception hall but as you come in the main door there’s a couple of chairs and a very scabby table. Just seems tired and neglected. Our room overlooked a side alley which wasn’t pleasant but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also no fault of the hotel is that there’s quite a few hostels all round it. On a plus side, the breakfasts are still good with something to suit everyone and we were pleased with our fish and chips at dinner one night. Vending machines in the lobbies which is handy. Toilets always clean. No Celtic nights for the three nights we were there but had a good Irish music night. It’s still nice to come back to it at the end of the day for a few drinks rather than roaming about the city at night. We will be back but it’s sad to see changes and would be nice to see some money being spent on it.

28/01/2025: Estuve allí para almorzar hoy y aparte de que el café en sí estaba frío la camarera se eximió conmigo pidiendo la cuenta. Ella se negó a traerlo a nuestra mesa a pesar de que tanto mi amiga como yo le hicimos señas cortésmente. Cuando fui al mostrador, ella sopló, sopló y dio pucheros antes de llamarme grosero varias veces. Estuve allí hace 2 semanas, tuve una camarera servicial encantadora: suerte de marihuana supongo ☘️

07/10/2024: Maravilloso desayuno completo, avena, huevos benedict, expreso y servicio. Muy recomendable. Está en un bonito barrio.

16/11/2024: I love this bar. Lovely vibe. Great to for a pint in the afternoon and the staff are generally lovely. However, my friend came here wasn’t drinking but had Guinness zero and was part of a larger group and 4 rounds in asked for another Guinness zero as part of the round, which the staff had earlier produced with no issue, change of bar staff and was told no Guinness Zero as it was located in the other section of the bar and to quote the bar man when questioned as to why Guinness Zero couldn’t be got, when the other staff members had provided it he said “I’m not that guy!” - clearly not, terrible experience!

27/10/2024: He estado aquí antes y un pub encantador, pero lo que presencié anoche fue increíble nos sentamos en la sala de atrás y había un grupo celebrando un estreno de película que eran cantantes fantásticos y todos estaban contentos, sin embargo, un miembro del personal del bar (mujer) les pidió que pararan y fue grosero, el guardia de seguridad de la puerta principal entró más tarde y pidió mantenerlo bajo que estaba muy tranquilo y era razonable y era obvio que no estaba de acuerdo con su compañero de personal. Se mencionó que la gente se estaba quejando, pero cualquier persona con la que hablamos escuchó que los problemas estaban conmocionados. Para ser honesto, la industria del turismo en Irlanda se basa en la amabilidad de los irlandeses y una canción en un pub. En ningún momento este grupo fue revoltoso o irrespetuoso. Estábamos de visita en Dublín el fin de semana y estábamos obligados a ir a comer algo después de una pinta en Keoghs, pero nos alojamos como el ambiente era genial con su felicidad y grandes voces

15/10/2024: La mejor pinta de la ciudad. Lugar muy acogedor si llegas allí antes de la multitud. Si alguien está buscando una buena experiencia de pub, esto es todo

19/01/2025: Un lugar local para nosotros y la comida suele ser bastante decente, pero esta noche tuvimos el Porchetta que era absolutamente salvaje! Más allá de lo esperado, fue sublime. Increíble carne tierna crujiente y jugosa con deliciosos lados de zanahorias de col rizada enmantequilladas y papas asadas No podría recomendar la cocina experta de este plato en particular lo suficiente.

12/01/2025: This was our first visit to King Sitric and unfortunately, it will be our last. Extremely disappointing. Garlic prawns were undercooked & lacked any flavour. The fish & chips were what you'd expect from Donegal Catch, not a 4* restaurant/hotel. Soggy chips, tastleless. The calamari was anaemic, not golden fried. Mayo, aioli & tartare sauces were all bizarre - more like bland white sauce than mayo. Disappointing creme brulee, taste was nice but the texture was curdled. The tempura prawns were nice, as were the mussels. Such a let down.

05/01/2025: Lovely, cosy surroundings for fresh and tasty seafood after a long, coastal walk. Fire was very welcome, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the menu was wonderfully fresh and tasty. Pleasant and relaxed feel. Thank you!

24/05/2025: Este es un restaurante de barrio muy agradable que funciona como bar de vinos tres noches en el fin de semana. Lugar concurrido para el brunch y el almuerzo con asientos interiores y exteriores. Gran personal y buena comida. Los propietarios Joan y Michael están dirigiendo el bar de vinos en asociación con los vinos Pinto locales y una vez al mes Joan dirige un club de lectura. Muy popular entre los grandes libros Charlas de autor vino y gran charla. Ambiente muy agradable - el tipo de lugar que puede entrar solo o en grupo y disfrutar de buena comida y vino. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

15/05/2025: No lo que retratan las imágenes, ni tampoco el menú. Muy decepcionado de la calidad y el servicio. En una calle muy transitada, productos de baja calidad, huevos escalfados mal cocinados y personal limitado. Creo que están luchando y no buscan mejorar. No vengas. Encuentra otro lugar para comer o beber...

04/05/2025: Extremadamente decepcionante. Hubo un problema con mi plato y cuando le dije al personal que lo devolvieron rápidamente y dijeron que me conseguirían otro. Esperé más de 15 minutos para el reemplazo que realmente no quería porque me pospusieron por completo. Ningún gerente o miembro superior del personal vino en ningún momento para disculparse o preguntar qué era el trabajo o si me gustaría un plato diferente, etc. Tuve que decir que no estoy pagando por este plato al final, me iban a cobrar por él.

08/03/2025: Visité dos veces esta semana - la primera vez el martes de tortitas, tuve las tortitas con compota de frutas y crema y eran simplemente perfectos, eso es todo lo que puedo decir - PERFECTO! Luego visitamos el viernes con mi hija y tuvimos tostadas francesas, hija tuvo la versión Nutella, plátano y fresa (ella es adulta! ) Tenía el tocino y jarabe de arce y una vez más - perfecto - la tostada era ligera, crujiente y justo el espesor correcto y no un poco grasosa, era tocino rayado apropiado simplemente encantador. Date un capricho y visita Noah and Co.
