04/09/2024: Had a great breakfast at North in The Address Hotel, Citywest. The Staff were really friendly and obliging. There was a perfect choice of options at breakfast buffet, such as selection of pastries, juices, fruit and of course a full Irish breakfast. You can also request your favourite type of eggs, which are then made on request. A perfect start to our day!

05/08/2024: Dear God, that's one of the worst restaurants I've been to. Kids pene pasta, no taste, so bland it was like eating cardboard. Adults half chicken. I've never seen a chicken dish so small. And the only taste was the burnt taste, absolutely terrible. Adults ceaser salad. Again, taste less. Send the pasta back, and then the manager came over and never said a word and just gave us the new dish. Top that off with €7.10 for a point of rockshore. Lipstick on the kids' glass. Need I say more. The staff were nice but never again will I ever go back. I gave the manager a chance to come over when I asked him for the bill, and he sent a waiter over. I was never asked, " How was your meal?" That says it all. This place is so nice inside that it deserves to be better. Avoid until them have a complete change.

07/10/2024: We have ate here the two mornings we have had in Dublin. I would eat here every morning. The staff is great, the coffee excellent and their hollandaise sauce is the best ever.

07/10/2024: Wonderful full breakfast, oatmeal, eggs benedict, espresso and service. Highly recommended. It is in a nice neighborhood.

16/11/2024: I love this bar. Lovely vibe. Great to for a pint in the afternoon and the staff are generally lovely. However, my friend came here wasn’t drinking but had Guinness zero and was part of a larger group and 4 rounds in asked for another Guinness zero as part of the round, which the staff had earlier produced with no issue, change of bar staff and was told no Guinness Zero as it was located in the other section of the bar and to quote the bar man when questioned as to why Guinness Zero couldn’t be got, when the other staff members had provided it he said “I’m not that guy!” - clearly not, terrible experience!

27/10/2024: He estado aquí antes y un pub encantador, pero lo que presencié anoche fue increíble nos sentamos en la sala de atrás y había un grupo celebrando un estreno de película que eran cantantes fantásticos y todos estaban contentos, sin embargo, un miembro del personal del bar (mujer) les pidió que pararan y fue grosero, el guardia de seguridad de la puerta principal entró más tarde y pidió mantenerlo bajo que estaba muy tranquilo y era razonable y era obvio que no estaba de acuerdo con su compañero de personal. Se mencionó que la gente se estaba quejando, pero cualquier persona con la que hablamos escuchó que los problemas estaban conmocionados. Para ser honesto, la industria del turismo en Irlanda se basa en la amabilidad de los irlandeses y una canción en un pub. En ningún momento este grupo fue revoltoso o irrespetuoso. Estábamos de visita en Dublín el fin de semana y estábamos obligados a ir a comer algo después de una pinta en Keoghs, pero nos alojamos como el ambiente era genial con su felicidad y grandes voces

15/10/2024: La mejor pinta de la ciudad. Lugar muy acogedor si llegas allí antes de la multitud. Si alguien está buscando una buena experiencia de pub, esto es todo

02/09/2024: Met a friend here the last Saturday in August for lunch, arriving at 13:30. As there are parking machines in the carpark and as I didn't know exactly how long I would be parked for, I tried to ask at the bar whether they could let me know if the parking attendants visit the carpark frequently or if I could pay for a couple of hours and then feed the meter as necessary. The first person I tried to ask was the barman who pointed at me and then turned and walked away without saying a single word ! I then asked a waitress who seemed to be annoyed to be asked a question. She told me I would have to pay. I hadn't suggested that I wouldn't ! Having walked out and put what would hopefully be enough money in the meter, I passed the waitress and her other waitress colleague on my way back in. They broke off momentarily from their chat to give me a little sneering smile and a roll of their eyes at each other. Really ? They then proceeded to not notice we wanted to order for a fair amount of time. Rudeness personified ! The food doesn't warrant any particular comment, generic battered chicken in a bun and my friend had a beef burger. Both burgers came with a small bowl of chips. As my friend and I were both driving we washed down our "meal" with a bottle of still water and one sparkling. We would have added a dessert but decided against spending any more money in unpleasant surroundings. €40 for two indifferent burgers and two small bottles of water served up by rude incompetent staff. Sad that the Dublin landmark and institution that is Hedigans has come to this. My advice if you are thinking of visiting is, save yourself the annoyance and go somewhere else. There are many places that are happy to see customers arriving. Hedigans isn't on that list.

31/08/2024: Asked on Friday to put on a match Saturday morning. The staff 10 minutes into the match I wanted to watch told me they couldn't show the match. Complete waste of my time. Incompetent and rude staff.

21/09/2024: Amazing service and great food. Every one of the servers were so helpful. They gave great suggestions and were always checking on us. We had both types of oysters. They were so good. The lobster was so fresh. The garlic butter topped it off. We had crab mornay that was delicious. Of course the Guinness was great too.

21/09/2024: The seafood here was excellent - we had calamari, lobster and crab claws and all were very well cooked and extremely tasty. Also found a nice white wine that was reasonably priced. Service was also prompt and friendly. Would have scored 5 stars but they charge for tap water - why do this?!

14/09/2024: Pasé aquí para una cena casual temprano, ya que se veía agradable y prometedor desde el exterior. La comida tardó AGES en salir, y cuando lo hizo, resultó que 3 pedidos estaban mal - nos dieron una versión adulta de una comida para niños, y una versión para niños de una comida para adultos, también había pedido pollo para ser añadido a mi plato de calabaza y se habían perdido esto también. En general la comida era sosa y mediocre. Una de las hamburguesas todavía estaba roja en el medio y cuando se lo señalé a la camarera, se disculpó pero no se ofreció a reemplazarla ni reembolsarla. Estábamos listos para ir en esta etapa de todos modos. Muy caro, mala experiencia, no será de vuelta ni recomendable.

31/08/2024: Tiempos de espera extremadamente largos. Pedimos nuestra comida y nos dijeron que había una espera de 30 minutos para la comida. En total esperamos 55 minutos antes de que llegara nuestra comida y ni siquiera estaba caliente. Quisiera también señalar que nos habíamos perdido las prisas y no teníamos justificación para los tiempos de espera. Cuando llegó la comida, el personal no se disculpó por la larga espera y no verificó si necesitábamos algo más. No volveremos.

09/09/2024: We had dinner here on a Friday evening in early September. The bar/restaurant is well located on the waterfront in Monkstown/Passage West. The restaurant is very clean throughout and the menu/food is very good. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The rice pudding was a particular favourite with our party. Well worth a visit.

18/08/2024: Fab location great staff efficient but not in your face. Food was delicious starters of mushrooms and ck liver pate mains roast beef and ck Oscar absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be back

17/11/2024: Allí los batidos 100 % no se hacen frescos. Allí como un batido inocente a la friolera de 4 €. 75 . Lleno de azúcar. Servicio decente

03/11/2024: El hachís estaba lleno de aceite y solo se calentó. Gran irlandés lleno era diminuto. Muy caro por lo que era. Sin duda podría haber incluido una taza de té por 14 €. Nunca volverá.
