28/04/2025: Went for dinner yesterday myself friend and daughter , been here before and was amazing , this time not so much .. service was terrible felt like we were a burden to the staff more then anything else . We then got the bill and they took it upon themselves to keep the change 8.50 as a tip ..tbh I don’t know what we were “tipping “ for .. I’m a waitress 13 years and never would never take that upon myself even if the change was 20cent .
Can’t complain about the food was fabulous just the staff that ruined it for us
14/04/2025: Great menu selection, we each had a different menu item and all were good. Servers were delightful. Good atmospher. Nice separation between dining area and bars. Good choice if in the area.
Only caution there is a 2 and 3 course offer that excludes the higher priced items so it actually costs more then ordering Ala carte.

22/02/2025: Lovely food but service can be slow came here on Saturday arrived at 12.15 was waiting over 20 minutes for a mini breakfast

30/06/2025: Solo descubrí que el personal decide en el menú No jamón o cerdo porque los inmigrantes que recibieron un trabajo no lo servirán debido a sus creencias religiosas imagina que si lo hacemos en el infierno vienen de lo que nos pasaría.
15/06/2025: Evita este lugar. Comportamiento repugnante del personal mal educado y mal formado. Bocazas y no podían dar una actitud de lanzamiento. No había habitación en el salón, así que nos enviaron al bar. Como un vertedero en el centro de la ciudad con gente regular que nos hace sentir incómodos... El personal del bar no está preocupado como si estuvieran contentos con él. ¡Evita!

Starter prawn cocktail was average
Ordered a medium cooked fillet steak - first steak was cremated so sent it back, asked again for medium and received a rare fillet in its place - 38euro for the fillet = hugely disappointing
02/05/2025: So disappointed with jumbo scampi definitely frozen and poor value for money. Looking forward to a meal after many years away.

03/05/2025: The owner is a very rude little man. I went in with my 3 year old grandchild. When I went to place our order he told me in a rude way that he only accepts cash which is a blatant lie. No wonder the place is always empty and miserable. A pity, because he is letting the good name of O'Brien's franchise down!
03/05/2025: No tuve una buena experiencia en O'Brien's Bandon. Tuve un niño bien portado conmigo. Tuve la impresión de que el propietario no quería niños en su tienda. Nos sentimos incómodos y nos fuimos! La cafetería no tenía clientes en ese momento. No volvería a ir.
