The best restaurantsof irish in Fingal

04/01/2024: We had a "Festive menu " at €34.95 for 2 courses, on the Friday night after Christmas. Our experience on this night left a lot to be desired. Staff need to be trained as how to serve in a restaurant environment. Huddled in groups having the chats with the kitchen staff over food that was being prepared. Food was not up to par at all. Soup was re heat from earlier in the day. Took 45 mins to come to the table. Asked for some butter and it was handed to me from the servers hand, not on a plate. Roast Turkey and honey baked ham was on the menu, however a cheap Turkey ,ham , stuffing parcel was what I received. The ham resembled a thick rasher. We were given a Veg bowl , however what received was Sloppy carrots and soft broccoli from earlier in the day that had been just reheated. Potatoes came from the microwave, again I presume from earlier in the day. We asked for a bottle of wine, this was handed to us in a cooler with ice , but the wine was off the shelf and still warm. Again the server simply placed it on the table and walked away.At €30 per bottle , I would expect it to be cooled . And possibly poured in to a glass. We will not be going back to this as a restaurant unless they improve their standards . Not the staff fault as they have not been trained correctly. However floor manager needs to pull up his socks..

19/12/2023: Service was very poor; dessert took 30 minutes to come; dirty glasses; pity cause the food is nice

26/03/2024: Went there on Friday evening, a party of 7. We were really well looked after, few waiters were making sure we are ok. I don't know their names, but they were very polite and positive. Food was great too.

22/03/2024: Served by the nicest waiter ever. Nothing was a problem. Made us feel most welcome. Will definitely be returning

03/04/2024: Chicken 🍗 pieces and thick fries. Nice.

25/03/2024: This is an average supermack's, definitely better than McDonald's or burger king but not the best supermack's I know, not the worst also.....

04/02/2024: Great spot for truckers with free parking and 5 mins off junction 4 on the M1 motorway.

31/03/2024: Right, so I ordered here through Uber Eats while staying at a nearby hotel. I am not from Ireland and have never tried this venue before. I was positively surprised, the food arrived warm, good big portions, a huge side of mayo (love it when they’re not stingy with the sauces) and cutlery for the animal style fries. I would say this is very comparable to In-N-Out Burger in the US.

27/03/2024: Very close to Clayton Hotel which is handy if you’re leaving your car there as parkandfly. We stopped by Supermacks to have some quick bite before hitting the road to go back home. The person who served us was so friendly and nice, he was super patient with our order and was happy to make adjustments to my chicken wrap (I asked for less meat and more salad). It was hands down the best wrap I’ve ever ate in any Supermacks before! The burgers and takko fries that other guys ordered were super fresh and perfectly done. I totally recommend stopping by if you’re on the way home from holidays or if you got time and want to eat something before going to airport. I wish I had the staff name - he deserves to be recognized and awarded for his professionalism and amazing customer service skill. He was tall, dark short hair, darker skin young guy. Huge thank you from all 5 of us :)

14/03/2024: Stopped here for a coffee. Had a nice selection of French pastries. I would recommend this place

04/03/2024: Going here every other day for years. After today I'll be going elsewhere. Lost a regular customer because of plain old meanness.

27/03/2024: I stopped by to buy a gift and there were a lot of cute things. What was surprising was that there was a restaurant and a fish stand next to each other. The staff were very friendly, so I was able to browse and choose comfortably. Because it is a tourist attraction, there is a slight difference in price, but it is not a huge difference.
