The location of this place is perfection. 10-15 mins away from Dublin airport driving. The atmosphere is a chill and excitingly put together vibe and Irish hospitality is real here.
I went during the breakfast/brunch hours and had the 'woodland breakfast'. Each breakfast option is not too dissimilar from eachother and the one I had was incredible. Scrambled eggs (2) that where smooth and buttery but not too moist.
Every bite of the rest of the food was just as incredible as the last until I was done. The service was as fast as can be desired.

19/12/2024: We had our Christmas party for the 3rd time there! Food was good as always, but the music wasn't as good as previous years, and one of the bartenders had a bit of an attitude at some point! Overall it was a good experience, and we are looking forward to finding out what's coming next year!
P.S.: Ruaidhri was there for us every year for our Christmas parties, making sure that we are having the best experience, so we do hope that we will see him there again in the new wrights adventure!

11/10/2025: Amazing service from our waitress, Sabrina Veríssimo. It was our first visit to the restaurant, and she was very patient explaining the dishes and very kind to our children.
11/10/2025: More interested in kicking us out than serving us. While we appreciate that the staff need to go home, being told the second you walk in at 8:45 they close at 10 then reminded every ten minutes is pretty poor tbh.

15/11/2025: Came her for lunch and ordered the roast smoked chicken. When it came out the man bringing it out was pretty rude banged it down and walked off. When I cut into the chicken I saw the bones, veins and meat was I sent it back and the staff said they’d make another but it was only the veins of the chicken that were pink and it wasn’t harmful. When it came out the second time it was just as pink. I sent it back again and a staff told me that it can’t hurt you it’s only the veins and it was cooked at the right temperature. Obviously meaning it was frozen and re-heated. For €20 for a chicken I’d expect a fresh one. My boyfriend got pizza which was really good as was the fish my mam got. To be fair I swapped it with wings and checked each time to be sure it wasn’t pink, but the way the staff spoke as if I was stupid for not eating pink chicken? Like pure pink. Anyway, based on this won’t be back! And please please don’t order the roast chicken if you go. Unless you like your chicken medium rare
14/11/2025: 26 euro for a 10% abv bottle of iHeart Sauvignon Blanc that I can get in the shops for 8 euro - you're having a laugh. You need to advertise that it is such a low percentage for such a rip-off price. Very disappointed. Food was okay, place was freezing cold though, no wonder there were only a handful of diners there circa 7:30pm. Won't be returning. Owner/Price decider should show more respect for the clientele, money is hard to come by nowadays.

03/06/2025: A woman behind counter serving customer whilst banging and slamming bins shut, and cursing under her breath. I was with my little girl and the two of us were so scared that it was our turn next that we turned on our heels. She then said ARE YOU OK... so I told her I definately was not ok with her cursing in front of my child. Totally unacceptable. Everyone has bad days at work but try to conceal it next time maybe.

09/10/2025: Everything about it was terrible I went in and the place is a mess both inside and outside once I got inside there was no cue I ordered a milkshake yet it took 10 minutes of waiting just to be told the machines not working just terrible service over all wouldn’t waste your time going here

Courtyard Café has well-earned the straight five stars in its reviews: on the spot made food and snacks, great coffee and friendly atmosphere.
So, do not hesitate and go to visit Sligo and, when there, go to Courtyard Café or viceversa.
14/06/2025: Courtyard Cafe is a lovely little spot with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I spent about €14 on a flat white and a homemade sandwich, both of which were fresh and tasty. The café has a bright, airy feel with plenty of natural light, making it a great place to sit and unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, adding to the comfortable vibe. It’s a perfect spot for a casual catch-up or some quiet time with good food and coffee.
