12/07/2026: Stopped in for a light lunch and tried two salads — the halloumi & hummus and the chicken salad — along with a lemonade, iced tea, and a dessert to finish. The presentation was genuinely lovely and the location itself is bright, comfortable, and welcoming.
Quality-wise, though, the food didn’t fully live up to the visuals. Both salads were fine but lacked the flavour punch you’d expect at this price point, and the dessert felt more average than memorable. Still, the service was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and overall it was a pleasant visit.
A solid spot for a casual meal, but with room to improve on taste to match the great presentation.

03/07/2026: I don't like leaving a bad reviews but for 56 euro I would expect better, the sauce with the smoked sausage dreadful, the chicken tenders overcooked and the chips were that overcooked hardly any spud in them. The wings were lovely in the Korean sauce but the other bbq sauce was awful watery and just not nice. The wee girl that served us was lovely, looking from the outside I was excited to try this place but to be honest never again, all these 5 stars id love to know what they were on before they went in because the experience they got to what we received was like day and night. SHAME

01/07/2026: Staff are lovelg and atmosphere is really iconic. The food is consistently delicious however I will say that the pricing is tough to justify other than the very occasional treat. I consistently get the nachos as the quakity is great and pricing is good, however buying anything else from here is rare simply due to the price. Would still highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a small party or a date.
Pictured is the nachos, garlic pizza bread and sizzling garlic prawns (Which my girlfriend say were fantastic). I willbalso say that while the pricing is quite high, there is a fair amount of deals throughout the week that are great

22/03/2026: Gorgeous food, seem to have a new menu now and it was amazing.
Got the chicken pot pie and the roast dinner, sticky toffee pudding and bread and butter pudding and it was all amazing. Probably the nicest bread and butter pudding I've had.
Staff are lovely too.

10/07/2026: One of the better mcdonalds I’ve been to. The food is hot 9/10 times, the staff are nice and patient and it’s usually a pretty chill place! The only complaint is that it’s quite dirty.

19/12/2024: We had our Christmas party for the 3rd time there! Food was good as always, but the music wasn't as good as previous years, and one of the bartenders had a bit of an attitude at some point! Overall it was a good experience, and we are looking forward to finding out what's coming next year!
P.S.: Ruaidhri was there for us every year for our Christmas parties, making sure that we are having the best experience, so we do hope that we will see him there again in the new wrights adventure!

02/12/2025: Great spot for a toastie and hot cuppa on these cold days.
01/07/2025: There is one golden rule when travelling: you eat where locals eat. It never fails.
Courtyard Café has well-earned the straight five stars in its reviews: on the spot made food and snacks, great coffee and friendly atmosphere.
So, do not hesitate and go to visit Sligo and, when there, go to Courtyard Café or viceversa.
