22/03/2025: Had an amazing stay over the weekend at Kilcoolys! The staff, food and vibe in their pub was immaculate! Have stayed here before, it is only a very short walk to the beautiful beach, will definitely be back again!
17/03/2025: Had a great stay. Gorgeous room, great location for getting down to the beach and going for nice walks and the staff were fantastic. Will be coming back for sure!

14/04/2025: What an amazing host and chef Namir is. So inviting and sociable. Food was outstanding super value for money.
Great with the teens and kids if our group. Will be returning and booking in the summer!!!!
07/04/2025: Best small cosy boutique Reastraunt in de middle of de town, Namirs n Kay are brilliant hosts, very Accommodating special if something a family wit kids want,
"I can do soups toasties salads"
no rubbish as a cheap alternative!!
etc great quality food n veg. Love his fresh fish n salad wit chips. Love to visit regular

02/04/2025: The place was amazing and we hoped for the nice enjoyable food but…
We ordered gnocchi and on the menu it said they are served with pine nuts. We couldn’t find a single pine nut in our portions. The food itself wasn’t tasty and we left half full plates. Then we ordered an apple pie, instead we got an apple crumble which was also left on the table. Sad that this wonderful place has such poor food.
21/03/2025: We had the most wonderful Sunday meal at this restaurant! I went for the bacon and cabbage, and it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had the beef and Guinness stew and he couldn’t stop raving about how good it was.
The staff were exceptional too! Gearoid was such great craic and really added to the lively atmosphere. Ellen and Izzy were equally fantastic. The staff were always smiling and attentive, even though the place was clearly buzzing with customers. Despite how busy it was, they made sure we felt taken care of.
All in all, a fantastic dining experience with great food and a warm, friendly team.

10/11/2024: Nice spot to stop in for a coffee or light bite to eat. Offers takeaway coffee as an option than to sit in. It has more seating indoors not as much seating outdoors. Opened on limited days and time. It serves lovely coffee. Easy to walk to within the town.

26/04/2025: Absolutely disgraceful especially the f+b manager the food and beverage manager.
I was going there every day and today I went and they tried to charge me double of what I had I went to reception to ask for manager and the f+b manager kept getting in my face told him that ill speak with the manager that I spoke with before and he said I'm barred from coming there again and I asked why he couldn't give me a reason and then I found out from Mike the manager who I spoke with before that the f+b manager said I didn't pay for something few days before hand so he is making false allegations about me and discriminating me for no reason I'm now taking legal action against him for racism discrimination and false allegations the f+b manager is working in the bar area so please be aware of him I would not recommend anyone to go for coffee tea dinner in the bar are.
