19/12/2024: Shocking. I was tempted to review this restaurant in July when I arrived for lunch at 11.50 and was refused by the waiter exclaiming “LUNCH STARTS AT 12”
Today I arrived with my mom for a soup at midday and was refused by a member of staff at the door stating “reservations only”.
This is absolutely SHOCKING in a small town like Killorglin. They totally could have taken our custom today but instead denied our custom.
Is it any wonder restaurants are closing down left right and center with business attitudes like this.
17/12/2024: Really good experience at The Bianconi Inn, both the Hotel and the Restaurant.
The rooms are very spacious and food options at the restaurant are delicious. We took the seafood platter and the fish and chips. Both were really good. I can truly recommend this establishment to anyone passing by Killorglin.

17/12/2024: One of the best fish and chips we've had in Ireland. There are a few tables to sit at or you can take everything home.
The fish was of high quality and we were able to watch it being prepared. The price is completely reasonable. The service was 1a with stars!
18/10/2024: Food is exceptional and very lovely. Portions are large. We got a lot of food for the price. Highly suggest bringing your appetite. Sauces are all delightful as well.

27/12/2024: Great pub/restaurant with excellent options for breakfast, lunch and pints. Well located in the main street of Killorglin. In our case, in a Friday morning it was not hard to find a parking space just in front of the place. They have menu kids available. Staff is very attentive and helpful and prices are fair. Recommend.

25/08/2024: We had a fabulous experience in Jacks this summer to celebrate a family birthday. We had eaten here a number of times in the past and it never disappoints, so we returned with a larger group of family to enjoy a beautiful meal in a picturesque surrounding. Brian and the staff took amazing care of our table throughout the evening. The hospitality was second to none. We had a couple in our group with specific dietary requirements (gluten & dairy free) and all of our food was delicious and catered to the needs of all. One of the highlights had to be the entertainment in the restaurant also. JP is an extremely talented pianist and indulged our musical requests. This hugely added to the relaxed and fun atmosphere for our family celebration. We were also treated to some bubbly for the occasion. A huge thanks to all in Jacks for a night to remember. Beautiful food, drinks & great company in the perfect setting. We will happily return again. Would highly recommend!
