17/02/2024: I would have loved to give this place 5 stars as we had a great evening in the bar and the food was nice. But it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in our of 6 others in Ireland so it is ranked with value in mind.

05/05/2024: We were lucky to get the best room in the hotel. The one with its own balcony looking out over the sea.
A lovely hotel and very friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during the Waterville Trail Running Festival. The residents' bar had some very welcome pints after the race.
The only tiny niggle was no printed vegan cooked breakfast option. But they were happy to put something together for me.
Our second visit here was just as good. Some renovations underway including electronic door locks.
The standard room is also excellent with fantastic sea views too.
