22/10/2024: Amazing food and big portions I'd recommend the pizza if you like a proper Italian pizza then staff were lovely and done some candles and a cake for my partners 30th. Very tasty food and good value. They only take cash or revolut which is perfectly fine and easy to do and well worth the money. I would advise booking a table ahead of time as they can get full quickly in the evening

13/09/2024: Traveling from NY and was lucky enough to find this gem. If this spot was in NYC, there’d be a line out the door every day.
13/09/2024: Oh .. my .. god!! The pizza is amazing!!! Genuine wood fire oven, cooked right there in front of you. They serve pasta, starters etc too. Most people take their food away but they very kindly have provided a few tables, particularly for tourists who may want to eat in . Located in spidaal , a small village on your way to Aran island ferries in rosaveel , connemara and the west. Very reasonably priced too!

03/11/2024: One of the nicest places in Ballinasloe but so disappointed with the lack of consideration. I went to order a takeaway last night and was told they weren't doing takeaways because restaurant was too busy. That was a JOKE and really needs to be reviewed or business will be lost by loyal customers..

09/11/2024: They ruined all the mood! Upon arrival, they said that you have to wait a few minutes because they are full for a maximum of 10 minutes. When I asked if we should order the eggs benedict. The answer was that you don't have to. The wait was more than 30 minutes before I got a table, they said that they no longer serve eggs benedict because it was until 10 minutes ago. It's a good thing that we stopped just for that.
We asked for 4 coffees, 4 straight espressos. They didn't bring sugar, milk or a spoon. 😞
Sorry, the waiter was neither nice nor flexible.
It might be a good place, but it was a disappointment for us. Maybe I'll try again sometime. Currently, I prefer to recommend the gas station 2 minutes away on the main road....

Coach House Hotel

19/09/2024: My wife and I spent the last day of our vacation at the Coach House Hotel in Oranmore. We had dinner reservations at Moran's seeing this Hotel was close by & looked very charming we booked. Unfortunately it was absolutely terrible, the room was drab & dull with one tiny frosted window. The telephone didn't work & was glued together, we spoke to the receptionist but nothing was done. This wasn't the worst, we failed to check the beds & once we got back at night & went to bed we found holes in the mattresses with the springs protruding through the fabric, our stupidity for not checking earlier, we ended up sleeping on top of the comforters. Also on closer observation we noticed stains on the mattress covers. When checking out we notified the receptions who apologised & asked us to send pictures to the owners, which we did but never received a response. I would advise anyone staying there to check the beds upon arrival. I assume I speak for most Travelers that the most important item in a hotel bedroom is a good bed and a good night's sleep!

30/03/2024: Great coffee. Busy popular spot in Barna Village. The pancakes with yogurt and berries were great and copious serving. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating if weather good. Warm and cosy indoors when weather otherwise. Local staff and which is becoming the exception..keep up the good work
