27/09/2025: Here you can eat real Italian pizza! The place is very small, and even though it was closing, Antonio prepared some takeout pizzas for us (which we ate on the waterfront) and told us his story. His place and his pizzas embody the culture of Italy and Naples.
14/08/2025: We stopped at this pizzeria on our Ireland road trip. After days of Irish food, we luckily stumbled upon Antonio's pizzeria. Wonderful guy and excellent pizza!!

01/01/2026: We had high expectations coming into this restaurant considering the authentic Italian background of the restaurant owners. My partner ordered the margarita pizza and I ordered the gluten free “Boscaiola”- the pasta was cooked great however the chicken and the bacon bits were chewy and had 0 flavour - the sauce lacked flavour and to top if off it was microwaved ! The waiter didn’t even insist to ask all was okay with the food although my food was pretty much left as it was served. My partner thought the pizza was average at best. Tomato base was nice and the mozzarella was fresh. But the dough was poor for a Neapolitan pizza and it was overcooked.

The place was very clean as well, but the toilets could do with an update

03/10/2025: The Coach House Hotel is in a good area close to Galway and has pubs, cafe and gas station within a few steps. We had an issue with our room as the drains were completely clogged for the sink and shower which made it very hard to use and our heat wasn’t working. We mentioned this to the staff in the evening and again to a staff on the overnight shift. No one offered help and asked us to ask someone else on the next shift. We only stayed one night however I would say the service is very poor here due to our room issues. The breakfast is also an additional 15 euros per person which we opted not to get.

30/03/2024: Great coffee. Busy popular spot in Barna Village. The pancakes with yogurt and berries were great and copious serving. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor seating if weather good. Warm and cosy indoors when weather otherwise. Local staff and which is becoming the exception..keep up the good work
