16/03/2026: food was lovely, on a busy Saturday wait wasn't long at all and staff was nothing but kind and friendly especially the manager Antonio
15/03/2026: Table of 12. First big problem was when we had to take our phone lights out to read the menu , the lighting was so low, other tables doing it also. Took 45mins for starters to come, 1 jug water for 12.
Starters finished, it took another 25mins for mains to come out leaving people who didn't get starters very hangry.
When mains came, the sides were brought out before some mains. Took about 15mins from the 1st main presented to the last main. 3 out of 4 said pizza had no taste , disappointing as they have a proper pizza wood fired oven. 3/4 of us didn't bother with dessert as it was over 2 hours in at that stage and could not have patience to wait any longer. Overly priced bland food with cave like lighting and too much waiting. Won't be back .

24/03/2026: Had dinner here Sunday and before Christmas. Staff are so friendly. Great service. Cannot fault anything at all. Food was beautiful.

03/04/2026: The worst chipper in town, Oh God... It was my decision to buy chips from this shop. Cheese and garlic chips are just okay with cheese and garlic mayo, but chips with salt and vinegar are horrible. The quality of the chips is below average...🤮
24/12/2025: Staff can’t take orders correctly rang in looking for a bag of chips with my order and din’t get them to make it worse they still gave us the dips without the chips

27/04/2026: Amazing food, always fresh always yummy, amazing staff, always friendly amazing drinks, cocktails, draft beer and Guinness. Coming here for 17 yrs and still love it. Great ladies nights of occasion and Xmas party nights.
09/04/2026: I got food poisoning from dining here with family on the 1st March. I had the pollo alla diavola. Would not recommend dining here to anyone after how sick I was from that dish

19/02/2025: Not a Italian food not good no veg for pizza when asked only meat and roasted peppers : I wouldn’t recommend this place at all as it’s over priced and food was reheated. The vegetable I got with my lamb Shank was soggy and over cooked . The roasted potatoes where very dry all seemed reheated. Defo wouldn’t return.
15/02/2025: We went for dinner in Balcone resteraunt last night , I ordered bruschetta for starter , what I was served was not in any way a resteraunt standard bruschetta , it was a cheesy garlic bread , garlic butter which with melted cheddar and two cherry tomatoes placed on top . This resteraunt is apparently an Italian resteraunt but even the carbonara I had for my main course was more like soup , it had a very nice flavour but definitely wasn’t anywhere near authentic carbonara . I nearly needed a spoon to eat it, it had onion and grated cheese on top which I thought unusual. We had an assorted dessert and they were fine . Service was extremely slow . I would not recommend this restaurant
