The food was absolutely amazing
Best pizza & pasta we've had in a long time
We got the pizza with burrata on top, so good and creamy chicken tikka fettuccine.
Our son had never tried carbonara before and he loved it!
The wine and the dessert were lovely too and all the staff were so friendly and helpful.
We'll definitely be back next time we are in Athlone!
27/04/2026: I went there with my 2 sons both young adults. They said the food they ordered was really good. While my food was very hot and the portion sizes for all 3 meals was huge and the price very reasonable. My food was nice, nothing outstanding, i've have much better italian, but thats was in Rome, we didnt order pizzas but they looked nice. All said it was fine for a meal i didnt have to cook. Staff were plesent, helpful and polite.

21/04/2026: Just stopped by for a bit of lunch and a glass of wine on a road trip with 4 of us. The owner is lovely and food was good. Cosy bar with lovely lights.
15/02/2026: It’s very small we had six people and they had us sitting around the bar and when we got a table we were not at the same table

07/03/2026: This place has gone so downhill. Overpriced pints, filthy dirty and some staff including manager wouldn't even acknowledge you. This place used to be so lively and welcoming. It's gotten such a bad reputation in this town and it deserves it.

17/04/2026: Had pollo fungi for main without the chicken and brushetta to start. Both were amazing. Had half bottle of white wine. Deserts were amazing
08/04/2026: The food while nothing wrong with it expect portion size was underwhelming! I had lasagna which was served with nothing! I had to order a side portion of salad. The lasagna tasted of nothing. My friend had spaghetti bolognese. Again portion size was small and nothing special about the flavor. No tap water available. Also the restaurant could do with a makeover. It lacks atmosphere and ambience. It needs more Italian personality. I don't like giving negative reviews but feel if it's taken on board this restaurant would be a lot busier! Never had to wait for a table. I've given it several chances but not again as so expensive to eat out nowadays. Hope they read reviews and make good changes. Ty
