03/04/2026: Wow, wow, wow! A fantastic discovery.
A must stop if you are a sushi fan and visit Dublin.
The staff's attention is excellent, above 10! Friendly, attentive, nice. He welcomed us with a hot tea.
We ordered a second round of food and he gave us two more tempura prawns, since there were 5 of us and the reactions are three units.
The food is of excellent quality and made with love.
We highly recommend it, so hopefully we can come back soon.

03/04/2026: Almost all the songs are on the karaoke machine; the service is good. The vibe in the rooms is also good. The selection of Chinese songs is comprehensive, and the atmosphere is great.

26/02/2026: The flavour of the salad is exceptional. I find myself thinking about the salad all the time, could never replicate it! The seasoning on the chips is tasty and I love the bao bun. Homemade lemonades and cocktails are great. Nice price for lunch deal. The fact they have vegan and meat options is great for everyone and in terms of flavour I give this spot a 5/5.

06/02/2026: We came for lunch, the Thai red curry was delicious and a good portion for lunch. The bento box was also lovely. Nice and friendly welcome and service.

Me Mam and Aunt as it was my aunts birthday
the place was very cold i couldn’t believe it
it’s normally one of my favourite places, but it was very badly left down. The guy who served us was lovely, very friendly & very attentive.
My aunt got sweet And sour chicken, but she was not able to eat any chicken. It was very chewy. I got a honey sesame chicken which tasted lovely, but my chicken again was very chewy. I was able to break it down with a lot chewing, was like a jaw workout but my aunt was unable. I had to spit out the last tree bits of chicken I Put in my mouth as I was unable to break it down and I was unable to swallow it. I’m sorry to say this about Honkaku as I say it’s normally one of my favourite places but I was very badly left down by this experience and i would not return sadly

22/05/2025: Well, the sushi is great, so far the best I've had in Ireland
16/05/2025: The server is really friendly and nice but the sushi was dry and the tuna was off, the rice was sticky and old. The miso soup was tasteless. Unfortunately if they do not improve their products, it's going to close because the sushi made me feel unwell. A couple of years ago the sushi here used to be very good. The prices do not justify the products.
