24/01/2026: Went there today to try and get some of my favourite chocolate cake but they were closed. Does anyone know if they've closed their doors?

23/05/2026: Edit: I’ve been coming to Zakura on Upper Baggot St for 4years. I celebrate all my bdays here, and all my anniversaries. Every single time the food is amazing. But I really want to say thank you to all the staff, they are extremely attentive, nice, friendly. Like they make you feel special on every meal. Cannot recommend more (: Thank you!!! Lovely place, staff are great!! Food is a 10

25/05/2026: Back in Dublin for a few days, stumbled upon this awesome restaurant! 1) super friendly staff..I.mean, they really make you feel welcome, no pressure, and they give you ample time to look at the menu, and will explain anything before you order. The Asahi beer was cold and tasty!! Then came the meal..man, was I in for a wonderful treat and surprise!! The food was served HOT and the best tasting meal ever!! We are coming back tomorrow for lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant! Sometimes you really fair better when you veer off the main street. Should you find yourself in Dublin, give this place a try. I promise you wont regret it!! Thanks

09/06/2026: Tim provided outstanding service during our visit to Yamamori Sushi restaurant. He was attentive, friendly, and made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Yamamori at Ha’penny Bridge is my favourite restaurant in Dublin.

16/05/2026: The food and desserts were absolutely amazing! The seating was a bit uncomfortable since there were no backrests, but aside from that, everything was perfect. In terms of value for money, service, and taste, it was outstanding. I would definitely love to visit again!

12/06/2026: This restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes (ramen, noodles, bento boxes, teppanyaki, tapas) at affordable prices. It's definitely worth a return visit. The bento box was good; I'll gladly come back.

08/06/2026: Pretty disappointed with this place. It was half empty but we waited a long time for our small order for 4 people. The sushi itself was mostly tasteless and a bit dry. They forgot my wife’s side dish and when we reminded them, after we were well finished the mains, it still didn’t arrive for another 20 minutes (a side salad!) so we got up and asked to have it to go. The juices were nice but arrived warm, room temperature. I had to add ice to make them more drinkable. Also, when ordering using the online menu with the table QR code they auto add the tip, perhaps because they suspect you won’t add it yourself. Pretty cheeky for a table under 6 people. Finally, one of the two men’s toilets was busted and wouldn’t flush (see picture). All in all, not recommended.

08/06/2026: Excellent Ambience and Sound systems Staff were very kind, they were very hospitable. Food menu had great options Highly recommended for outing with friend and for birthdays.

05/06/2026: One of the best Japanese/Chinese restaurants I've visited in a long time. The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish we ordered was excellent, making it difficult to pick a favourite. What really elevated the experience was the hospitality. The owner, Eric, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued as customers. His warmth and passion for the restaurant really shine through. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. If you're looking for a place you'll want to return to, this is it. Highly recommended.
