09/08/2025: The food was really good and tasty! Especially the smashed avocado with poached eggs then they added korean spicy sauce. Absolute perfection! Love that the staff are all accommodating upon entrance. The vibe in the cafe is so cozy as well.

27/05/2025: Awesome little pub. It has “the white horse” on the building, so maybe a recent name change? We just stopped in for 1 drink whilst driving through the Mountains/countryside. Beautiful pint and really reasonably priced. The staff were also incredibly friendly. Great place.

13/07/2025: The food…..was the nicest food I’ve had in a long time unreal experience fast service lovely staff I had the Mexican chicken burger omg unreal big portions aswell the steak sandwich could feed two people and the chips where chips can’t complain lovely atmosphere we only went for food we didn’t stay there but the pub was lovely the price is fair for what you getting

13/08/2025: Armelle recently baked the delivered a beautiful, tasty cake for our wedding. She was so thoughtful in squeezing us in last minute after our original baker closed up shop without letting us know. In retrospect, we're glad we ended up with Armelle instead; all our guests loved the cake and the whole process was seamless. We'd definitely recommend Armelle for a wedding cake!

08/05/2025: Some of the best Indian food I’ve had. #71 and #101 with garlic naan and chicken pakora was really yummy, served very hot. We took our food to the river to eat at the picnic bench there.

13/07/2025: Got a pizza meal for one was a little pricey at 17 euro but you know what it was worth every bite the pizza is cooked in a woodfire oven and let me tell ya you can taste bark absolutely beautifully cooked and i thought it might of been a one off so i got it again and no its mouthwatering the cheese was stringing and the sauce was next level. Chips are lovely and give a full bag not like others . Highly recommend will be back

I rang and they said they would drop them over 20 minutes later I ring again.
They spoke to me like I was an idiot who could see that they put the drinks in the bag and refused to give us the drinks we had paid for.

10/08/2025: We were in Calverstown/Kilcullen last week, staying at a local B&B, & searching for some good Chinese food. We must've driven up & down the main road of Kilcullen a few times, in search of restaurants, before we saw the sign above the doorway 🤓
✅️ Food was ok
Portions were smaller than expected. "Long tray" description in the menu was misleading, as we were expecting a bigger size, good enough to feed 6 adults.
We ordered the:
• Shredded Crispy Chicken
• House Special Chowmein (long tray)
• House Special Fried Rice (long tray)
• Sweet & Sour Pork
• Salty & Spicy Chips (french fries)
As we didn't dine there, we didn't get to enjoy or see the ambiance of the dining room. Service of the girls at the reception counter was adequate though. Helpful & efficient.
