10/12/2025: We ordered our beautiful wedding cake from Armelle and we were absolutely delighted with the cake, macarons, and cake pops provided. 🖤 The cake was stunning and delicious 😋. Everyone was asking what baker we had. Thank you so much for everything. 🖤 we will definitely be back . Absolutely stunning and delicious cakes . Even better they also offer Gluten free options which went down a treat with a few of our guests who are celiac. Will definitely be back for more . Stunning cakes 🎂 x 🖤
03/11/2025: Armelle’s Kitchen made a wonderful XL Layer cake for a recent 70th birthday celebration. The decorations looked stunning and the flavour was lovely - everyone was delighted with it. As promised, the cake was ready to collect on the day, and Armelle’s provided a great service.

08/03/2026: It was my Mum's 80th birthday and we had all our family from 91 to 8 years old in the restaurant, the service and food was amazing, very friendly staff and at a reasonable price considering the quality of food served . Thank you to all of the fallons staff

The Riverside Restaurant

20/08/2025: What can I say about The River Café, the food is always excellent, and Paul the owner is an absolute gentleman. He works hard alongside his friendly, hardworking team, and it really shows. The coffee is the best around, and I often stop in as I work just up the road, it’s a real gem to have on our doorstep.
I love that there’s a great choice of breads, and the breakfasts are both delicious and plentiful. I usually go for a ciabatta for lunch with a mix of fillings, and it never disappoints. Great value for money and highly recommended. If you’re passing by, definitely pop in!

12/08/2025: One of the best pubs I’ve been in Ireland. Great atmosphere! The owners are such a nice couple that makes you feel at home, and the service is great! Perfect to gather with friends, family, partner or just to stop by for a drink.
And it has a billiard hall and a music box!!
25/07/2025: A truly wonderful pub with a lovely atmosphere. We had a really good time there.

14/08/2025: Bardons has the nicest food in Kilcullen 10 times nicer than the hideout! Great service even nicer food I’ve been to bandons plenty of times have tried most things on the menu and never been disappointed! The beef is my favourite but there’s plenty of options for everybody ! 10/10 would recommend
13/07/2025: The food…..was the nicest food I’ve had in a long time unreal experience fast service lovely staff I had the Mexican chicken burger omg unreal big portions aswell the steak sandwich could feed two people and the chips where chips can’t complain lovely atmosphere we only went for food we didn’t stay there but the pub was lovely the price is fair for what you getting

05/10/2025: Got a kebab and a pizza.
All the food was cold on collection, kebab had little veg and zero taster, doner meat was near raw. I would not eat here again.

23/01/2026: Omg we’re do I start the place was freezing like an ice cube me and my family had to keep our jackets on I’ve never seen worse service in my whole life it’s not wheel chair friendly there no way you could get a wheelchair up that stairs I DO NOT RECOMMEND and the toilets were disgusting, I can explain it 🤢🤮DONT RECOMMEND

The Hideout

19/04/2025: Staff were lovely, very friendly and efficient. Alot of dishes on the menu, but we got the toasties and chips. Toasties were decent, chips were nice and hot.
I also got a latte, and the glass had visible coffee stains dried into it. That didn't come off when I rubbed it to check.
Also, the womens bathrooms have cameras in them over the mirrors pointing at the stalls, which was a bit disturbing. The toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time, visible build-up of dirt on and around the toilet seat, the smells was also disgusting in the toilets. Only one hand dispenser had soap in it, there was toilet paper just left lying around.
08/04/2025: Every now and then you find a place that ticks all the boxes and the Hideout Kilcullen was just that. Made a reservation for two for an anniversary dinner and arrived early, no problem, showen to a nice table by Leigh who was so polite and helpful. We ordered two different dinners and didn't have long to wait, the food was beautifully presented and plenty of it, very tasty. Another member of staff Demi was so bubbley and chatted to us making us feel welcome which added to a wonderful evening. I will definitely return, big thanks to the staff.
