15/07/2026: Was there this evening for my dad's birthday. The food was all excellent. I had the crab and avocado starter from the specials, very tasty and well presented. Then I had the duck special main, again very tasty and nicely plated. The banoffee dessert was excellent, lots of nice elements to the dish. I had a refreshing limoncello spritz and a lovely glass of chablis. Very impressed by the meal.

16/06/2026: We found the menu attractive, the restaurant busy on a Monday night and the staff very pleasant. Unfortunately, we did nt eat there but got up and left. We explained our reason to the polite staff. Rustic were charging 10 euro for a single measure of ordinary Jameson and adding in a coke it would come to just under 15 euro. My husband on principle felt he could not support such extortionate price.

10/05/2026: Bouchon, normally a wonderful Meal, is suffering just a little From lack of experienced staff. Attention is just a little off and response to requests is slow. Food is good as always.

14/05/2026: Had a lovely afternoon tea with my mother today and we really enjoyed it. The food was beautiful, very fresh and incredibly filling, definitely worth it if you’re hungry! The staff were warm and friendly,The cakes, scones and sandwiches were all delicious, and the tea was perfect too. We left feeling very well fed and looked after. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend if you want a proper good feed and a lovely afternoon out.

06/04/2026: About 2/3 weeks ago me and a friend of mine were refused entry at the door by a brand new bouncer I’ve never seen before .We go to mcCormacks every other week tip the amazing bar staff always and are good friends with all the regular bouncers so came as such a shock being refused entry for absolutely 0 reasoning when questioned why his response was ‘I don’t need a reason I make the rules just not tonight’ Just such a shame that a bouncers mood can affect someone else’s whole night out my friend and I had to go elsewhere while the rest of our groups night was also disrupted as they also left Mcormacks to be with us , terribly disappointed in the bouncer selection Mcormacks went with. He was about 5”8 Irish brown hair terrible attitude.
