The best restaurants in Claremorris

02/08/2025: It was my 1st first time here and loved the chicken burger. Great service.

01/08/2025: I'm a Claremorris local, but moved abroad over 20 years ago. When visiting family in Claremorris I make sure to bring the kids to Blue Thunder. We visited again recently and it was just wonderful. Bernie and Rose couldn't have been kinder. We were a large group of 13 and they made sure everything was taken care of. Super clean and good prices. Normally a chipper is a chipper, but the service level here stands out. Thank you ladies!!

16/08/2025: Bought a medium tea this evening, price E3.30 , I was somehow charged E4.05 on my card !! Overcharged .75 cent on a cup of tea ! I will not be back.

19/07/2025: Today I visited the Insomnia Coffee in Claremorris for the first time. The coffee was really good, prepared with attention to detail, the carrot cake was fresh and very tasty. The staff were lovely. I arrived at busy time, but the girls working there were always smiling and the atmosphere between them was great. There were happy to advise me on my choices, and didn't rush me when I couldn't decide. While waiting in queue, I noticed that the girls treated each customer individually and knew the preferences of their regulars. They were happy to chat with each customer. This is rare in this type of place. Despite the large number of customers, the cafe was clean and offered a wide selection of cakes and sandwiches. I will definitely be back.

28/09/2025: I had fish and chips here recently and ate every scrap. Really enjoyed it. I will be back in Claremorris soon and will return to there. Thanks.

26/04/2025: Absolute cat, fish is pre cooked then recooked and tastes like leather, chips are bad also.

22/09/2025: The food was okay 1st time, that's why I chose this restaurant again for a takeaway on 20/09/2025. I ordered food for 40 Euro. But, very disappointed this time. The biryani that I ordered was not even cooked well. It's very sad that we order food for this much price and it is not tasty and good to eat.

24/08/2025: I love Indian food so I tried this place whilst in Clairemorris and it was delicious, I ordered on the app for collection at 9.45 and it was on time when I arrived.

07/09/2025: Went in for carvery today 2 adults and a baby .food was v v poor won't ever be going back first and last visit won't lie haven't felt great since and either has my partner.

07/09/2025: Only popped in for a coffee (Irish). At about 10.30 am it seemed to be the only place open at the time. Friendly welcome from the staff in a pleasant environment. LP

25/08/2025: This place used to be class but lately gone seriously down hill. I’ve never tasted a chicken curry with less flavour be as well eating a sheet of paper. Miserable bag of prawn crackers, chicken is rubbery. Takes an hour to get your takeaway. Sickened as it really was lovely a few months ago whatever happened

13/08/2025: Food reasonable, stir fry no different than the other dishes , a bit strange , not stirred or fried

18/07/2025: Group of 9 for coffee and pastries. Amazing variety of pastries including gluten free options. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Great service. Thank you for looking after us so well!
