The best restaurants in Claremorris

11/11/2024: It was the kimchi of the same name in the asian groceries in Galway that led us here. The dining environment is good and the service is considerate. I am grateful to be able to eat such authentic Korean food on the west coast of Ireland. Especially during the cold season, it's a perfect experience to have a steaming bowl of kimchi, tofu and pork belly broth for dinner. The tteokboki at this restaurant is also almost perfect. However, the fly in the ointment is that the smell of beef in the beef broth is too strong. Although the soup is well seasoned, the beef is clearly not properly processed. An uncommon mushroom in Korean bibimbap gave me a good experience. Bibimbap does not have the crispy skin. It would be better if the vegetables were stir-fried with sesame oil. But overall the restaurant is not bad, highly recommend the fried rice cakes.

11/12/2024: My family held my brother’s birthday dinner at The Old Arch last weekend. Ann the owner and all the staff in this restaurant were amazing and Ann in particular went over and above to help us given the town was suffering the impact of storm Darragh. Thank you

30/11/2024: Food was very poor. We both ordered steaks. The Mash potatoes served with the steak were cold.I sent back the potatoes to heat up ,and they were returned minus the vegetables.We refused to accept the roast potatoes which were served as part of the main course . They were nearly black from what appeared to us as overcooking or reheating. Overall a very negative experience, and we certainly won’t be returning.

17/12/2024: We visited Noel’s on 14th December for the first time for a few drinks. Charming location and a nicely decorated restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and Alex, the DJ playing on the night deserves a massive thank you and well done! He went above and beyond from the minute we arrived, he is polite kind and professional. His set was outstanding, and he kept the bar engaged and vibing. His constant smile, positive energy, and incredible vibes made the night unforgettable. Alex is a brilliant DJ and a true gentleman! We will most definitely be returning to the venue and to support him when he next plays.

17/12/2024: Its location is special, next to the water canal and close to the center Coffee is delicious, sweet is an art to be eaten ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reservation required 👍🏻..

24/11/2024: We got the Lighthouse to do catering in our home for a Christening and we would highly recommend Mary and co. The food was fabulous and all our guests commented on how lovely it was. There is a great choice on offer, and from ordering to delivery, the service is seamless! It was great coming back from the church and having the food all set up ready to go! We will definitely order again!

16/09/2024: Thank you Mary & Sal for the excellent service in the catering business, I have used the Lighthouse for serval occasions and have no hesitations in giving the highest compliments for the food, service and friendliness. I highly recommend their chicken curry, beef stroganoff, potato gratin and pasta dishes with meat balls and side salads.

12/05/2024: Beautiful meal in Maxwell's tonight. Staff were super friendly and the food was exceptional. Had garlic mushrooms to start and chicken & beef main and couldnt fault it. Would definitely recommend a visit
