13/04/2025: Fabulous food and service. €38 for tempura and seafood batter fish & chips and a chowder, plus a pint and half of Guinness. Free EV charging if you have a meal.

12/04/2025: A very cozy restaurant where we enjoyed delicious espresso and Irish coffee as well as the most delicious brownie and carrot cake. It was a poetry of taste and the atmosphere overlooking the ocean made us not want to leave there.

22/04/2025: The Amethyst Bar is a convenient spot to grab a bite, whether you're heading to or returning from Keem Beach. Parking options are available both along the street and in a dedicated car park behind the building. For those in need of a quick coffee to go, there's a café conveniently located just across the street. A practical and pleasant stop during your journey!

23/04/2025: Visited and stayed here for a night couple of days ago. It was a very last minute booking. Right from the moment we entered and were met at reception we got a warm feeling. The lovely lady at the front desk kindly talked us through a plan for seeing the best sites around the island with our limited time. The rooms are a little dated (so if you are looking for brand new latest trends hotel this may not be for you) but are extremely tidy and felt very relaxing to us. At first we were going to walk around town and see where we might eat for the evening. Feeling tired we just decided to eat at the hotels restaurant and so glad we did. In our 4 weeks in the Emerald isles this has been by far our best meals yet. Both starters, mains and desserts were amazing. Thanks to all the staff for an amazing stay.
