26/04/2025: Popped into this place after an evening on Keem beach. We were met with great atmosphere, welcoming staff including the owner and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! It is worth a stop to get a snapshot into a classic Irish pub, they don't make them like this anymore!

23/04/2025: Visited and stayed here for a night couple of days ago. It was a very last minute booking. Right from the moment we entered and were met at reception we got a warm feeling. The lovely lady at the front desk kindly talked us through a plan for seeing the best sites around the island with our limited time. The rooms are a little dated (so if you are looking for brand new latest trends hotel this may not be for you) but are extremely tidy and felt very relaxing to us. At first we were going to walk around town and see where we might eat for the evening. Feeling tired we just decided to eat at the hotels restaurant and so glad we did. In our 4 weeks in the Emerald isles this has been by far our best meals yet. Both starters, mains and desserts were amazing. Thanks to all the staff for an amazing stay.
