20/10/2024: Great place for watching sporting events, loads of screens. Great entertainment in the evening. Amazing food served throughout the day, best burger in town and I've tried many others. Friendly local staff who can accommodate small to large groups. Love this place. Highly recommend to all.

06/09/2024: This is our second time in the Railway Bar and we will be back again when we visit Navan again. Travelling from Lisburn, Co. Antrim. we were made to feel so Warm and Welcome in this lovely, Traditional / Modern Friendly Bar. Worth 5.Stars. unconditionally. Try it yourself and you will find that my Review is honest.

16/07/2024: A really cute coffee shop/boutique! I wish I got my coffee for there instead of takeout, I will definitely try to go back. The lady at the counter was really nice.

05/10/2024: Mostly when we go to obriens food was good and service too. But last time i was shocked ! How we were served and waitress attitude!!!! If she doesn’t like foreigners just don’t show this with your body language and try to be nice. I wouldn’t come back to this place after last shocked visit

25/09/2024: Lovely place. Living in town for 15 years and never went in to this place. Been there on friday night for dinner with the wife. Absolutely shocked of how great the service and the food was. Had steak and was so nice and tender. Deserts were awesome as well. Pictures taken a bit late, too hungry.

27/10/2024: Phoned twice but didn't get an answer. They rang back afterwards and took our booking for 2. When we arrived there was nobody in front of house. After a few minutes standing we decided to seat ourselves as there was plenty of vacant tables for 2. Eventually a staff member came to us and asked us were we happy with our table and we said yes. She departed and did not supply a menu or ask about drinks. A group of 6 came in after that and tables had to be rearranged to accommodate these. Another couple came in and were shown to thier table. Menus, drinks etc. were supplied to these two tables, we still hadn't been attended to. Eventually we were offered menus and drinks and food served, we opted for the 2 course early bird. Food was good overall, my wife's was lovely, my beef was tough in the Asian stir fry. We declined the offer to have a desert but had a 2nd drink each. Shortly after the bill arrived on the table by a young staff member who hadn't previously served us, thought this was odd but ok. We continued to finish our drinks but about half way through we were asked to pay our bill as the table was needed shortly, not sure why we were asked if we wanted deserts/tea/coffee if the table was needed. We had this discussion with the manager and also pointed out that we were helping to support our local hospitality industry as we have done over many years. We found that it was quite rude to demand money prior to us finishing our drinks. It didn't seem true that the table was needed in a hurry as the restaurant had many empty tables and no customers arriving. Really disappointed as we've been going there for many years, it's not a fast food cafe. We felt they just wanted us out as we had finished spending with them.

19/10/2024: Chekhovs cafe does breakfast, lunch & dinners. Ranging from eggs benidict, chicken & brie sourdough toastie to supersalads & sweet potatoe fries. They have a range of fresh teas, homemade cakes & protein balls. Kids menu includes sausage & chips. Reasonable prices. Rustic look inside. Dine inside & outside. Quick service.

06/10/2024: Had a really strange experience. It's always been good in the past but last night the service was incredibly slow. We were waiting 40 minutes before we got our starter. Then we tried to order dessert but were told the power had gone out of the fridge? It came across like an excuse. An unusually bad experience for Gaylord.
