The best restaurants in Navan (an uaimh)

11/04/2026: Had a lovely experience in the gate today!! The women who greeted me were so lovely and really made my experience 10x better. The food being great was a huge plus as well !! Definitely recommend.

30/03/2026: Lovely restaurant, centrally located in Navan town. Highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast - mushrooms were cooked beautifully. Staff are friendly and professional. Will be back!

22/12/2025: Great spot! My friends Martin, Dylan and The Bruno introduced it to me a few months ago and what a pleasant surprise it was, if you are enjoying a few pints of Smithwicks you can enjoy a Clems kids meal for a cheap price and lots other options. The owner Paul is a classy traditional man who is a gentleman to deal with. Would recommend to any passerby and hoping they extend the pub or turn it into a franchise. Toilets are lovely aswell.

16/11/2025: I know there was a Irish rugby match on at the time, but it was just as bad when it finished. Greedy owners packing customers into a narrow long pub with one exit and an even smaller laneway to the side Small bar meaning constant piles of glasses and bottles as people try to order their drinks (which you then had too battle back to your table and hope didn't spill them) Should be a staff member/bouncer om the door with a clicker counting numbers or common sense to see when bar is full

11/10/2025: Lovely little place with friendly staff. We come here regularly and the quality has always been consistent. Its a real gem of a place. The large breakfast is great. Vegetarian breakfast available also which is great.

11/08/2025: The best breakfast I've ever had and my wife was very happy with her vegetarian breakfast, Very pleasant staff and reasonably priced. Definitely will go back when I'm in the area again.

15/03/2026: Lovely first time experience, lovely people and amazing food, such a reasonable price also, even received a gift leaving for the occasion of Mother’s Day, so thoughtful and made it extra special for the occasion. Definitely recommend ❤️

07/03/2026: Great food, and staff were all kind and attentive, unfortunately we were upstairs where there are far too many tables including one large group that made the noise levels unbearable, we had to skip dessert because we could not stand the noise levels, far beyond what would be expected of a busy Saturday

12/10/2025: Love the cozy atmosphere and chilled funky music. Friendly and attentive staff, great choice of beers and delicious pizza. Have been here a few times. It's one of the few places in Navan where you can count on having an enjoyable evening out for diverse ages, along with very tasty pizza. As some others have mentioned, please don't skimp on the pizza toppings, sometimes its been lacking. However, the great staff and ambiance brings us back. Overall, a great place and highly recommended!

21/03/2026: Was with someone with special needs the front access was hard but in side was nice and nice music good atmosphere he enjoyed it all good loved sausages and chips 🍟 and had shamrock shake thanks, will be back as I always look for cheap because as a carer has to pay from my pocket not much paid as a staff thanks .

02/03/2026: Lovely, friendly staff. Service was excellent and fast. Small range of foods which is adequate for all tastes and it means everything is done well.

07/03/2026: Fish and chips were flavorless except for oil. Burgers were ok. Never checked on once after we gave order. Not an enjoyable meal.

01/03/2026: They mandated a 30% tip. Food was very bland and meat was very tough. We had a party of 10 and all tried each other’s food, nothing was seasoned or tasty. Sauces were watery and flavourless, steak couldn’t be cut with the steak knives. They also hadn’t put enough tables together to fit us all, so we were on top of each other the whole meal. We didn’t want to complain or cause a fuss but no one was happy. When we went to pay, they said as we were such a large party they had a policy about the tip. No one even got alcohol, just water and food. They didn’t serve us any more than a smaller party. We thought the tip we decided was very generous considering the food, but they were very unhelpful and just kept saying it was their policy and it had to be paid. Wouldn’t have bothered me much if the food had been decent. Not a nice experience at all. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.
