The best restaurants in Navan (an uaimh)

27/06/2026: Beautiful food from start to finish. The tastiest fish cakes I have ever had! Everything tastes fresh and full of flavour. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the temperature is lovely and cool. Highly recommend.

01/07/2026: Chicken pakora with the sauces tasted fine dining level. Biryani and pilau rice were good. Chana masala and vindaloo were a bit too tomatoey than a traditional original one.

11/10/2025: Lovely little place with friendly staff. We come here regularly and the quality has always been consistent. Its a real gem of a place. The large breakfast is great. Vegetarian breakfast available also which is great.

07/07/2026: The new food served by Artur at The Royal Meath is incredible! Everything is so fresh and tasty, and the service is friendly and professional. It’s the perfect setting for an informal yet amazing meal - did I mention the great deals? You can’t go wrong dining in the Royal; the hot wings and bruschetta in particular are delicious, but there’s something on the menu for everyone. Paired with a cocktail or glass of wine, it’s the perfect midweek or pre-cinema meal. Not to be missed! 5 stars - would give it more if I could.

11/04/2026: Had a lovely experience in the gate today!! The women who greeted me were so lovely and really made my experience 10x better. The food being great was a huge plus as well !! Definitely recommend.

13/05/2026: I used to love this place but my God has the quality gone to absolute bits. Ordered for deliver and when the food arrived, not only was the food cold. But the "chilli cheese" fries has to go straight into the bin the meat was so horrible and clearly out of date. The driver also forgot one of the drinks and when I called the restaurant to ask for it they said they couldn't send a driver for just one drink. I explained it was not one drink it was the rest of my order that I have paid for. I was told id just have to bring it up with just eat. Given its also quite pricey I would recommend ANYWHERE in Navan over this place.

19/06/2026: I was very disappointed with the service at Chekhov’s Cafe. After placing and paying for my order, I took a seat and watched several customers who arrived after me receive their orders before I did. After waiting 12 minutes, I asked when my coffee would be ready and was told rather dismissively that I was “next in the queue.” However, multiple people had already been served ahead of me despite arriving later. It felt as though our order was only brought out once the café had emptied and it was convenient to do so. Poor organisation and unprofessional customer service. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
