20/08/2024: First time I came here the female teller jimped me out of €20 or €30 by giving me the wrong change. She may have thought I was a foreigner unfamiliar with euro currency. Upon realizing her “mistake” I immediately returned and she gave me the money back with a side serving of feigned innocence. Upon returning to Navan I made the mistake of returning here. I ordered the standard fish and chips. Inside the box was a long stringy chewy item instead of a filet of fish. The chips themselves were bland. This restaurant has been in business at this spot for so long you would expect the food to be of decent quality, Not so. The menu itself lacks any variety and the prices are way over the top. Navan deserves so much better than this. Also note the atmosphere when you walk in. The workers have a sullen, un-engaging and unfriendly attitude. I will not be returning.

13/10/2024: Unfortunately, I can't recommend Leon anymore. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service we received at your Leon restaurant today, 13.10.24. Despite being informed of a 15-minute wait, we unfortunately had to wait over an hour for our food. When I inquired about the delay, I was given another 15-minute estimate, which again proved inaccurate. To make matters worse, my friend's order for a hot sandwich without tomato was incorrect twice, arriving cold and with tomato both times. Additionally, her drink was not served until after the meal, despite her request. We also ordered croissants and waffles to accompany our coffee, but due to the slow service, our coffee had grown cold by the time the pastries arrived. We were waiting another 20 minutes .The croissants were served with melted cream, and ice cream was melted as well which was unexpected. I was further dismayed to observe two staff members standing idle behind the bar while our table remained dirty after the first course. When our pastries finally arrived, a waiter commented that our table should have been cleaned in the meantime and offered to do so herself. This experience was truly disappointing, and I will not be returning to your restaurant in the future. Waiting over an hour for a sandwich and receiving incorrect orders is unacceptable. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and take steps to improve your service.

15/09/2024: Popped in for some lunch and it was the perfect place for it! ☺️ The staff are very friendly and the food was perfect!! We will definitely be going back!

07/11/2024: Nice place. Food was slightly slow coming out but that could be a plus. There wasn't a lot of pre cooked food in the deli window. Clean and central and decent value for money.

15/11/2024: Decided to try this restaurant for a takeaway. Went in to order at 7.45 on a Friday night, gentleman at the counter was polite, took my order and as I paid for it I was told it would be a 40 min wait. He took my number and said that he would ring me when order was ready to collect. 50 minutes pass by and no phone call. Thought they may be busy so drove round to them, parked outside and went in to takeaway section. Restaurant had 8 people dining in it, table of 6 and table of 2, so hardly what constitutes busy. I waited inside for at least 5 mins before the same guy appeared carrying my bag of food. Put it on the counter and said Thank You. I left and drove home. 7 minutes drive. Brought food on and opened tubs. Major, major disappointment. Firstly there was no burst of aromatics from the food. The Butter Chicken was just pure bland and super sweet. The Prawn Balti was about 50 % onion and as for the Sagg Aloo, it was just brown sludge and again mainly onions. Spinach was nowhere to seen in this dish. The Peswhari Nanns were not like anything I have got in any other Indian restaurant. Horribly sweet, no coconut inside at all but it did have some weird pink colourant added to it inside. Even the little tub of mint dip that comes with the poppadom crisps was bland. First and last time I will darken the door of this place. The most annoying part of all this is that you work hard all week and fancy a nice Indian Takeaway as a treat. Then you get charged nearly €40 for this terrible food. Thankfully there is Copper & Spices and Indian Vibe here in Navan, both of which serve Indian food that tastes as it should. Lesson learned.

08/07/2024: Just got a takeaway absolutely dreadful. Hard lumpy rice and old lettuce. Tasteless Tandoori Chicken. This used to be such a good Indian .

20/10/2024: Pros: Supermacs as a chain is awesome. I love their chicken. Cons: This particular branch is in disarray. The staff seem to lack effective leadership. Although they appear well meaning and friendly, they are in chaos. This results in substantial delays for everything. You might be quicker driving to the branch in mulhuddart and back. It might be quicker. The stress of the chaos is palpable.

29/09/2024: Filthy place. Staff are useless. Stood for 5 minutes waiting to order and was ignored. Total waste of time.

15/10/2024: Best spice bags in navan, lots of flavour, chicken batter is nice and crunchy, and chips are crazy good, the amount of spices they put on the chips is just the right amount with all the chili powder and salt is absolutely sintilating 5 stars

25/09/2024: Awful, usually just grand (better than other dives in Navan) but forgetting the prawn crackers then telling the customer to pay delivery for them again for the restaurants error is beyond a joke. Food was delivered at 18:25, prawn crackers at 19:10 by a very disgruntled driver. What’s the point at that stage. Food was also bland as sin (Honey chili chicken) and Kung po sauce was just raw garlic in watery sweet and sour mix. Won’t be back (we were loyal customers for years but the last few times it’s gotten worse and worse with prices higher and higher)

02/11/2024: We ordered a takeout two double cheeseburgers and one loaded fries the burgers and the bacon were overcooked and very very dry with takeouts been so expensive now and restaurants closing down every week you would think they would serve their food so it’s edible we will definitely not be ordering from here again 😢😢

11/10/2024: I dropped in here as my son was doing the driving test route down the road, pint of Heineken €6.20, not bad seems to be very sport driven with memorabilia all around, friendly bar man, clean toilets nice place to enjoy a pint, good music playing also

15/10/2024: Great find! Lovely food, great service and a nice little vibe. It’s not a big place so space is tight, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Food was made fresh, and good humour from the staff. Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in Ireland!
