The best restaurants in Navan (an uaimh)

17/08/2025: I was in insomnia in Navan and at first when I walked in the staff ran to the counter as they were sitting with their friends drinking their own coffees which I assume they didn’t pay for. This left me with a bad first impression as the staff were laid back and unprofessional. After I ordered they returned to customer seats and continued to eat and drink the shops goods. In the time I was there drinking my coffee I estimate they had at least two coffees which they made themselves. This was very unprofessional and I didn’t like the experience I would advise the manager take a look at cctv and see what his employees really get up to during working hours. Furthermore the friends who joined them weren’t drawing pictures at their table like some sort of children and using the electricity to charge their phones. This isn’t very appealing for customers as assume their friends done them a favour by the ont then their coffee for free meanwhile I paid €5.90 for mine. Utterly disgraced and disgusted and not happy with the experience. Staff were nice but only because I imagine their trying to pretend they care about their job please look into the employees in Navan insomnia.

11/07/2025: Staff here are just great, always so friendly and it just adds to getting a coffee as a treat. Coffee is always brewed perfectly!

06/06/2025: Top quality food. If your looking for homemade cooked food I highly recommend this for your dining. !. Top quality service too. My 2nd time here and each time they offered me a refill of my tea!. Ill be back and recommend to anyone in Navan . Well done to all 👌👌

04/06/2025: This is a little gem up a lane way just off the Bull(or the Square as we locals knew it!) and behind AIB. The whole place is exceptionally clean including the bathroom. They have a great variety of homemade food on the menu, everything fresh and tasty at very reasonable prices. Great friendly service. I'm glad to see more and more people becoming aware of it's existence. No queues, music at a low level, this place is a little oasis where you can have breakfast, lunch or drop in for excellent coffee and homemade cakes. Highly recommend.

02/07/2025: I come here once in a while for a glorious cheat day. It’s very clean most of the times, and if a table happens to be dirty staff will come out and clean it immediately if you ask. Food is very good and freshly made. The one time I got a cold burger, they made a fresh new one and offered apologies! Staff is very friendly and easy to talk to, always with a big smile on their faces when serving you. One time I jokingly complained about prices and the cashier (tall with a beard) mentioned the app which has coupons for some offers. Thank you very much for that! I didn’t know about it!

22/07/2025: Just popped in for a takeaway coffee this morning with my son and delighted I did. Coffee was gorgeous and not overpriced at all like some places are. Lovely touch leaving cookies out on the side for people and the loyalty card they offer is really good as you don't need to buy 10 coffees to get a free one. Really clean and welcoming service. The food people were eating while we waited for the coffee looked lovely and really fresh too. Will definitely make it our coffee stop when shopping in Aldi again.

14/08/2025: I love to visit Indian restaurants as im a big fan of the cuisine, there are a few to choose from in navan Town but copper amd spices is my favourite. I often visit sometimes with my husband and sometimes with the whole family . There is a great kids menu and price includes a choice of dessert wheich is a bonus as my kids especially love chocolate brownies!! A favourite in ny household is butter chicken and our waiter told us its no problem to change from the option of korma to butter chicken in kids portion. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated , you can't help but feel a beautiful ambient atmosphere from the moment you sit down. The menu is georgous as is the drinks menu . I like to try different dishes every time I visit and as a vegetarian customer, coppers and spices have so much choice and can easily accommodate any dish I may want to suit my diet . I highly recommend this Indian to friends and family members and it never fails to impress.

26/07/2025: If you are looking for a traditional pub, not a place that is all bling and no atmosphere, Henry’s is by far the best place in town!

18/07/2025: The new young lad working in the off licence is overcharging people by at least €2.50 every purchase

21/09/2025: Large bar in town that now seems to be food led which has contributed to a drop in the atmosphere in the place. Standard selection of beers, diner style food selection (burger, wings etc). Busy for a Friday lunchtime.

17/09/2025: We stopped by for lunch and portions were huge! The panko fish was excellent! We had a few drinks as well.

30/08/2025: Staff got order wrong 3/4 times until it was sent back. Owner is lovely but staff don’t seem to care about customers

12/07/2025: Excellent food. Great sandwich and soup. Lovely milkshake. And coffee.
