17/03/2025: Disappointed with the security staff
We were extremely disappointed with the treatment we received at this pub on St. Patrick’s Day. The security guard refused to let us in with our children, claiming it was “too busy”—yet when we looked inside, it was far from crowded and other children inside the pub. It felt like an excuse rather than a valid reason. The attitude of the security staff was unhelpful and unwelcoming, which really dampened our experience. Definitely won’t be returning!

17/03/2025: Bad experience - asked for a chai latte WITH coffee at the drive through and got a chai latte without even a hint of coffee in it. Two regular drinks (one cappuccino and one chai latte) for over €10. It’s an absolute joke giving the staff can’t take direction in getting the drink right. Staff member barely said a word to me. Wouldn’t be back - rip off, staff don’t care and the cappuchino tastes like ass. Save yourself the disappointment and go to applegeeen up the road, because coffee from a machine tastes better. If the coffee from here doesn’t leave a bad taste in your mouth the customer service will.
26/02/2025: Very friendly staff, really kind but not dog friendly at all and for no apparent reason, don't go here if you want to bring your dong inside

17/12/2024: Found Earls by accident. I just happened to pay by. I had the breakfast, which was exceptional and great value. The brown bread was very very tasty. The staff were so friendly. There were all sorts of pastries and breads. I didn't indulge which gives me an excuse to call again. Highly recommended

Lovely food, great service and a nice little vibe. It’s not a big place so space is tight, but that wasn’t a problem for us.
Food was made fresh, and good humour from the staff.
Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in Ireland!

19/03/2025: Food was terrible. Ordered 2 half roast chickens. Tiny portions and the chicken was dry with black bones. Half a potato cut into cubes. The coleslaw on my wives plate was gone off which can be extrememy dangerous. Very disapointed.

01/03/2025: We had a group of 15 for food at Crave and it was great. They were so helpful and the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was great.
08/02/2025: Food was really average. Nachos starter was stone cold. Pasta sauce was tasteless. Staff were busy with a large party at the table next to us. The waitress did apologise for us not enjoying our experience and deducted the chips and a couple of drinks from the bill.

03/01/2025: We went to The Zone over the Christmas break and had a great time! There was 7 of us and the team couldn't have been nicer to us. They were calm and open to questions from the kids. Overall great experience and lovely for a family day out.

27/12/2024: Ordered 2 pavlovas for Christmas they were inedible, meringue was rock hard and pretty much tasteless. Not cheap @ €22.00 each, they're actually overpriced and had to be dumped. This will be my last purchase from them.
20/09/2024: Staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely experience. They made me a personalised Raffaello cake in previous times and were very kind and accommodating. Soda bread is gorgeous. Will be back soon to try something else!

04/03/2025: One of the best places for Thai and Indian food! The flavors are spot on, and the spice levels can be adjusted to your liking. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Highly recommend the crispy chicken and pad thai!

19/02/2025: I went in and I was immediately greeted by the beautiful waitress who also made my hot chocolate. She had such a bright smile and was so kind to me. The hot chocolate was lovely and they didn’t mind me studying there for 2 hours. The new owner is super friendly and makes the best sandwiches. The music is delightfulllll… good prices 🥹 I would visit here again 100%. I felt so welcome

04/03/2025: My second time here and it didn't disappoint! I had the fantastic vegan salad bowl, deliciously fresh and tasty ingredients and such a large portion that I could only eat half, but a friendly staff member packed up the remainder and I took it with me and enjoyed it later....such a good price too at 11.50 euro.
The coffee is good too and I was interested to see that they do outside catering... will definitely return
24/12/2024: I've been to the honest cafe a few times. Impeccable service with a smile, conveniently located in town centre. The reason why I'm leaving 3 is the food. Normally they are delicious.
Maybe it was one of those pre-holiday weekends, Today, I was served avocado eggs toast with bitter unripe avocado and a tough toast. I understand how it will be easily missed due to the festiveness and the crowd waiting outside.
Maybe next time it will be back to the old swing.

09/01/2025: Food is not good! I had beef fajitas and the beef was tough and the sauce was a strange taste. My daughter ordered a pizza and there was an odd tasting tomato sauce and lots of it. She changed her pizza for a burger and it was dry and tough and even the chips were overcooked and tasteless. We won’t be returning.
05/10/2024: Mostly when we go to obriens food was good and service too. But last time i was shocked ! How we were served and waitress attitude!!!! If she doesn’t like foreigners just don’t show this with your body language and try to be nice. I wouldn’t come back to this place after last shocked visit
