The best restaurants in Navan (an uaimh)

19/07/2025: Came in here with my sister , she was meeting her friend and I was meeting mine. Got served firstly by a lovely blonde girl and then by another brunette staff member. The brunette staff member did not seem happy to be there or with anyone. She gave out to my sister for moving a chair around to show her friend something and then asked them to leave because they had been there for “too long” my sister and her friend had bought multiple things in the Costa and wasn’t finished. I hate leaving a bad review because the other blonde girl was really lovely but the service from this other particular staff member was honestly appalling.

08/07/2025: Very disappointed with this coffee shop. Always dirty, tables are full with empty cups. The staff is not nice at all. I asked for some hot water to warm baby’s food and the girls refused me, how is possible? Is not first time, everywhere I go with my baby, nobody refuses to give boiled water for baby. It’s time to change the staff or manager need to pay attention on their behaviour.

08/09/2025: Second time ordering from here(wanted to make sure). I asked for less salt on the food. Again they did not listen to the request. Very low quality ingredients drowned in salt and other spices to mask awful taste. Would not recommend unless you are literally starving.

07/09/2025: Food quality in the Mulan is going down hill fast, got a 4 in 1 , it was dry very little curry sauce for over 8 euro

22/07/2025: I very rarely if ever post such a negative review but this had to be said. Absolutely dull and abysmal — don’t even know how the place is still open. Staff were far from polite, felt very rushed as if I were inconveniencing them. Never felt so unwelcome in all my life. There was nobody in the place and I’m not surprised. Won’t be back.

18/07/2025: If I could give no stars I would the man who works there is unbelievably rude and obnoxious he looks at you like you’ve ten heads the girls tho are lovely and will do anything to help u while he stands there and watches them weird if u ask me won’t ever be back as he just gives me weird oul vibes

30/07/2025: staff really nice, but I found the food really spicy and I couldn’t eat most of it. The vegetable spring rolls didn’t taste like anything. Despite this I love the idea of being able to choose little bits to put in one box. I’ll come back again sometime, maybe to eat something more mild. Portion (€10 for 3 items) doesn’t look like much, but the food is very filling and I can never finish it all, so I think the price is fair

10/07/2025: I posted this a year ago and they had it removed- I still have my receipt I can prove all of this. This was my worst food experience ever. I made a google account as I have never left a review before. The awfulness of this place made me feel strongly enough to put the effort in to urge people to stay away from this place. The staff are among the rudest I have ever come across and I lived in Holland for a year (known for rude staff) If someone spoke to me like this on the mean streets of navan you’d see hands fly. The food smelt like literal vomit. I got chicken chips and noodles with curry. I wanted to bring it home feed it to my dog and bring my dog in to ginzeng so she could scutter it back out at the rude lady serving me. Noodles and chicken had no taste good or bad but chicken was wet and the texture of what I imagine can only be rat. My friend had to encourage me to leave as I was getting emotional at how awful this experience was, when I smelt the food and tried each part I said “yo give me my money back this isn’t food” she said and I quote “no you pay now you pay double now then leave then you leave OKAY okay so bye bye take food and go we no want you here OkAy” my friend knew she’d be getting a curry facial if I wasn’t dragged out of there. Great for people watching as a homeless woman with a toothache was begging outside the window, was genuinely the high point of my dining here.
