21/11/2025: There are times and occasions in life when we must put pen to paper to borrow an old addage. 21st Nov 2025 we went for a meal to the hotel and the setting, the service and staff were stunning. My aunt's loved the food and the venue and a special fuss was made of the birthday girl. Definitely going back

30/09/2025: Sourdough didn't taste fresh, near impossible to cut after toasting. Really strange texture of avocado, like gritty and tasteless. Must have hit a bad day as locals recommended and reviews are great.
18/09/2025: Lovely little cafe, the club sandwich was delicious and very good service in comfortable surroundings

28/09/2025: Gorgeous, cosy little spot - perfect for informal family get-together. Pleasant and efficient service. Tasty pizza and BYOB
HOWEVER: 1) very expensive - €18 for small-medium sized pizza. 2) Every person MUST order a pizza - no other option for people who don't eat pizza 3) BYOB charge is €5.90 PER PERSON - which cost nearly €50 for a party of 8 for corkage fees alone.
Hence, as much as I loved this place, I can't say I'll be going back and I will be recommending with all the above caution.
26/08/2025: Make some time for this great little spot with loads of history. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good quality ingredients and flavours. Bring your own beer / wine. Worth booking if visiting Glaslough.
Halloumi Fries were great. Accompanying garlic mayo was garlicicuous.
