The best restaurants in Tullamore

22/12/2025: I was looking for somewhere for breakfast in the north of the city and found Bang Bang via social media. It is a great spot with a real community feel, loads of local produce and artwork on the walls. We had a breakfast bap (which was good value and absolutely delicious) and a coffee each. There were loads more options available. It’s a small space but we had no problem getting somewhere to sit. I would visit again in a heartbeat

19/11/2025: Incredibly warm and welcome service and atmosphere. The cafe was busy with locals which is always a good sign. I had the vegan mac and cheese which was the best I've ever had.

21/09/2025: Great night, food was fantastic. Calamari for starters and the burger for mains. One if the nicest burgers I have had in a long time. Handmade and seasoned in house. Delicious. Staff excellent, very friendly and up for the banter. Highly recommend, we will be back

29/09/2025: My daughter enjoyed her birthday party here recently. What a fantastic experience. The birthday march was so cute! The staff were really helpful and easy going. The kids enjoyed the playing and the yummy Supermacs meal! Highly recommend.

30/11/2025: I always order delivery and tip the driver only to get most of my food they always seem to forget some costly items but one thing for sure they never forget to charge 🫰 as for the burgers they are as bland there under cooked as for the ketchup on the burger 🍔 has very little taste

28/06/2025: Perfect spot to break a long journey. Lovely food / treats and a beautiful small shop to browse and toilet. We had coffees/teas and treats on way to and from centerparcs.

13/12/2025: I have being up here all year doing an course & the last weekend , i popped into tbis place tonight, Wow what an great pub that serves home comfort food , What an great pub to have in your town , i had fish & chips & so did 3 other people on my table when tne food came out , i got 2 piece's of battered fish on my plate & loads pf chips , everybody who was at the table were very happy with the amout of food on the plate . We didnt have any dessert but we will return for desserts at another time . The staff were friendly, kind & couldn't do enough

23/09/2025: If you're not getting your chipper stuff from Macaris after a nice pint in Lee's, I don't know what yer doing. The best chipper run by the best folks. Everyone should use this place as a template going forward.

06/11/2025: I dropped into Pizzeria Del Capitano while in Tullamore and ended up having one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Elma, the host, was brilliant — funny, sharp, and full of energy. Her upbeat attitude really lifted the place, and she’s definitely someone worth keeping around. Great food, great craic — can’t ask for much more.

The flavors are rich, well-balanced, and consistently impressive — the kind of coffee you look forward to and remember afterward. If you appreciate high-quality, expertly crafted coffee, this place is absolutely worth a visit. It has quickly become one of my favorites for the coffee alone.
