26/06/2025: Recommended by the Lonely Planet guide, we stopped on our tour of Dublin city center for lunch. We ordered the soup of the day, creamy and tasty, and the Irish smoked salmon. They seemed small portions, but they were very satisfying. Then we shared a dessert: we tried the dark chocolate choux bun, with a cream in which you could really taste the blueberries. The place is very nice, with lots of wood and velvet, which gives a warm and welcoming feeling. The soft lights and scattered candles create a romantic atmosphere even at lunch. Very clean services and always smiling and helpful staff. I would go back!

02/07/2025: Teniendo en cuenta la calificación "Michelin" anunciada, esperaba una experiencia de primer nivel. La ubicación del sótano fue inesperada, pero está bien. El ambiente del comedor principal era agradable. Las presentaciones fueron excelentes, como se esperaba. Pedí Chateaubriand para dos, acompañado de ensalada César, etc. Sólo se sirvió una ensalada, por lo que fue necesario compartirla. La ensalada, sin embargo, estaba excelente. La carne estaba bien preparada a temperatura ambiente, pero no tan tierna como se esperaba. El chef "puso" una gran cantidad de "mantequilla Café de París" encima de la carne cortada previamente, y también en el plato. ¡QUÉ ASCO! Esta mezcla sabía TERRIBLE y era un INSULTO para un buen corte de carne. No pude rasparlo por completo y el sabor desagradable persistió. Las patatas baby asadas estaban muy ricas pero tenían la piel muy dura. El acompañamiento extra de macarrones con queso y tocino estuvo excelente. No hubo pan que acompañara la comida. El servicio fue satisfactorio, pero no excepcional. Habiendo cenado en muchos restaurantes con clasificación Michelin y C&R alrededor del mundo, el Sr. Fox, en mi opinión, fue en gran medida decepcionante.

13/06/2025: My husband Kevin and I celebrated our wedding reception at Medley, Dublin this May and we truly couldn’t have imagined a better place to host the best day of our lives. As two proud Dubs, we always knew we wanted a city-centre wedding. We chose Smock Alley for our ceremony, and after a short (and very scenic!) 10-minute stroll, with a few stops at some of Dublin’s iconic pubs of course, our guests arrived at Medley for the reception. From our first visit right through to the final dance, the team at Medley, especially our coordinator Chris, went above and beyond. This type-A bride sent hundreds of emails and had a million little questions, and not once did I feel like anything was too much. They made everything feel effortless, personal, and seamless. We were after a vibe that was laid-back but beautiful, and a space where all generations, could feel relaxed and spoiled. Medley delivered all that and more. The food was a standout — not your standard wedding fare, but something genuinely special and delicious. No soup or meat-and-two-veg here (unless you want it, in which case they’d still nail it). We would recommend Medley a thousand times over. Every time we walk through Dublin city centre now, we get to pass by the place where we had one of the happiest days of our lives, and that still gives us a little buzz. I have no doubt we’ll be back again soon as guests, raising a glass to someone else’s big day.

26/06/2025: Really good burrito and nachos. Very filling, even the mini nachos were a decent portion.

03/07/2025: I ordered a mocha, but unfortunately it was extremely hot—I burned my tongue on the first sip. I kindly asked the barista if I could get another one, this time just warm, not extra hot. Sadly, the second one was just as hot as the first, and I still couldn’t drink it. While I understand that not everyone has years of experience as a barista, it doesn’t take much to know that coffee shouldn’t be served that hot, especially after a specific request. The barista wasn’t rude, but there was zero customer service and no attention to detail. Some basic training could really make a difference.

24/06/2025: Great spot, awesome coffee, matcha and desserts. Loved the friendly atmosphere and the overall artistic vibe. And the drone-perspective prints of Ireland’s coastline make me want to visit them too - so cool!
