03/04/2024: A Cead Mile Failte in a French Restaurant. The only thing that surpasses incredible food is the friendliness. The team at Hugis are proud of their work and it shows. Skipped to a main of halibut (pictured) with chili brocolli. Quality five star fresh food. Leave room for cheese plate and fine wine. Fantastic team Sorcha, Sarah, Dimi as a front of house team you do your colleagues proud. Tip on Sunny Days get a window table...
02/04/2024: We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday in Hugos last Saturday night, it was an amazing night in every way. The staff were brilliant, friendly and efficient and truly made the whole experience so special for us all. Justin, the manager was so helpful and friendly to deal with in organising this event. We had a group of 12 of us, the food and service was outstanding, everyone enjoyed it and are still talking about how delicious the food was. We had the entire downstairs to ourselves, it was truly special, a beautiful night to remember, huge thanks to the incredible wonderful staff there who made this night so special for such a milestone birthday. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. 10/10

02/04/2024: Hard to sum up just how brilliant the team at Medley are. We recently had our wedding in this amazing space and Andrew, Chris, Brian and the whole team were just superb from start to finish. The food, attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond were just some of the highlights. Our guests loved the venue, the vibe and the food - couldn’t have asked for more! We would highly recommend Medley for any event.

29/03/2024: Fantastic tasting menu experience here! Food was delicious and creative, the staff were friendly and attentive and very good value for the amount of food!
I was visiting and happened to find it via google and I couldn’t be happier. I will be back again when I come through Dublin.
27/03/2024: Ate here recently and it was bar far one of the best meals that I've had in years. Every bite of the multiple courses was a joy.
The atmosphere/decor does let the place down a little - Some soft background music and slight dimmer lighting perhaps would go a long way.
The food was so excellent, that I will look forward to returning.

30/03/2024: The food is always excellent but it’s very difficult to look past how desperately the premise needs a deep clean. In particular the bathroom.

The soup is super delicious, like it was freshly made and full of fish, mollusks... the plate seems small but it is quite filling. We accompanied it with squid rings and a side salad.
Two non-alcoholic drinks.
They sat us at the high table, it is comfortable.
For wheelchairs there are lower tables.
There is a fairly large terrace.

01/04/2024: Was really looking forward to a visit here.
Cool interior,nice atmosphere.
The service on the other hand made this visit a disappointment.
No hello,no welcome,no explaining how one orders.
No idea that the lunch menu was finished.
No problem.
Carrot cake was fine.
I felt I was intruding.
They came to the table at 3:30pm to say they were closing in 10mins.
I sat down at 3:05pm.
They close at 4pm on this occasion.
Will have a peek in the spacious windows to see if it's the same staff next time I walk by.
But I won't be recommending here until then.
Shame really.
31/03/2024: Great location, good collection of tea, good collection of pastries (although a single pastel de nata costs a whopping €3.25). But the staff aren't very friendly.

11/03/2024: Honestly the worst salad I have ever eaten.
I could never imagine to have a dry salad.
First of all the garlic croutons were forgotten in the kitchen.
So I complained and the kitchen added the croutons .
Not a big issue.
I don’t think the salad has a bad quality but the recipe should be honestly changed,
The salad leaves were far too big so first of all I had to cut all the leaves and mixed it up in the hope that it will be less dry.
Because they use powder Parmesan it is making the salad unbelievable try. Better would be Parmesan in slices or chips.
The next thing is the dressing:
They write in the menu “a light dressing”.
I mean it is simply pure fat.
I guess mayonnaise with some anchovy aroma and as it is not liquid enough it does not cover the salad leaves and this leads again to dryness.
So this food was really not my case.
21/01/2024: Freezing cold Baltic restaurant. The manager was wearing shirt and woollen polo neck jumper and jacket. It was so cold we could not stay any longer so no dessert or coffee. A real disappointment 😱😱
