09/06/2025: One of our last meals in Ireland and the best food we have had so far. Five different meals and all were excellent. The apple pie was a delightful change from traditional and was better because of it.

16/06/2025: This small shop is located right at the beginning of the Latin Quarter. Very cramped inside, with few tables. Outside, however, there's even more space. If you want to eat outside in strong winds, go ahead; we were inside. Service was very friendly. The food was good; we had two chili cheeseburgers. The chocolate milkshake was freshly made and very tasty. One point deducted for the cleanliness of the restrooms, actually two points. Definitely in need of a thorough cleaning, or a complete overhaul. I hope the kitchen is cleaner and more well-maintained!

11/06/2025: Very nice service and great food

23/06/2025: Tried to get food delivery to my house in Ballybane (have gotten it many times in the past no issue) the website wouldn’t accept the address so I just rang to see what was wrong with the website. I then proceeded to have heated conversation towards me from an employee who answered the phone. I tried to explain the situation but the man immediately went irate at me explaining how I wasn’t getting food and to ‘shut up and listen’ and I wasn’t getting any food. I’m completely taken back cause in my years in Galway I have never once had a bad experience with Giovannis Galway. Genuinely the attitude of your man has turned me off the place now
