01/04/2024: Lovely hotel friendly staff 👌 we have booked again for July 2 nights !

31/03/2024: Someone went through our luggage in our room, and stole alot of perscription medicine. We were disrespected and violoated. This has never happened before. Highly Do Not recommend staying here.

11/03/2024: Just bought like 30 Minutes ago spaghetti with ceaser salat from Your shop. The dressing of the salat was very bitter and like wasted. I did not like the taste, it is pity there is no sitting area inside.

22/10/2023: I serve on the planning committee for the O’Leary Clan Gathering that was held in September 2023. On the second day of the Gathering the group takes a coach tour to visit sites that have a connection to our clan. We needed a place to stop for our 30-minute afternoon break so our group of 40 could grab a snack, drinks and use the toilet. When we pulled up with our coach full of hungry and thirsty people the owner was ready. He set up a section of the bar with tea, coffee, and water. Plus, he had cookies and sweets. We did have a few folks that purchased a few pints. It was a perfect location because of the size of the bar and the level of customer service we received. The coach tour is held on a Saturday, we arrived around 3:00 p.m. Across the road was a small market where a few of our members bought ice cream cones. There were a handful of locals in the bar that our American members enjoyed meeting. At the end of our visit, we loaded up the coach with well rested and hydrated people to continue our tour. I was impressed with the owner and his staff; they did a wonderful job.

30/03/2024: We have yet again had another special occasion at the midleton park Hotel. Me and my family travel from outside East Cork to this hotel because of the amazing staff who go above and beyond. We had a function for 30 family members and kids included. The food was just perfect. We also have had previous functions and again perfect. Thank you to all the staff again who go above and beyond at times.

19/03/2024: A decent hotel with recently renovated room ans good breakfast, but the bathroom seems still to be in original and in need of renovation too. Friendly staffs, unfussy check in and check out.

15/01/2024: Sharpest bar staff in West Cork. Young girl tried to pass sisters ID off as her own. Not only did barmaid recognise it but knew family, knew when she was actually born.... was half expecting her to know the nameof the midwife who delivered her... Could easily have asked her to leave on her own and served friends but asked all of them to leave so that the girl who had to leave was not left alone. Hats off to that!!

05/01/2024: Nice pub across from the Munster Arms Hotel had a good crowd. Has the standard fare of beers and ciders, with a small selection wines and nothing in the way of craft beers.

28/03/2024: It is a store with a cafeteria, where there is a little bit of everything from clothing to plants and organic products. Of course, it is not cheap.

11/02/2024: The last few occasions I have been very disappointed in the full breakfast the bread hard and tasteless, the potatoes soggy, not up to the usual standards

03/04/2024: Ate something there today. The service was very friendly and quick. The 4 of us really enjoyed the food, from the pizza to the crepe :-)

25/03/2024: Good service and food, we felt very welcome. The bathrooms are on the top floor and were very clean. It has an entrance adapted for people with reduced mobility. It also has tables on the terrace, very pleasant on sunny days.

22/03/2024: I've been going to Park89 for lunch for a while and after I went in today March 2024I discovered you can no longer get a half portion. This is really disappointing as the cost of living is so high at the moment. I wont be returning.

11/02/2024: Variable experiences, Ok for Sunday lunch, we were there one night during the week, service was awful. At one stage we wondered if we were invisible!!! Had to ask twice at least,for most things. Things you shouldn't have to ask:would you bring the menu,could you wipe the table after the last people,can we have napkins,can we have a finger bowl,could we have some water. Never seen it as bad. Food was good, though 😋.
