27/01/2025: Great venue for live music, excellent range of drinks and cocktails, plenty of seating with accessibility for all, excellent staff service, and fantastic atmosphere!

16/03/2025: Overnight stay while visiting the distillery which is a short walk into town. The bar and room were super clean and the furnishings upstairs made me feel like I was back at my Granny's house, which is good!

07/01/2025: Stayed here twice this year. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Showers had great water pressure. Anne and Brendan were great hosts. The bar downstairs is great. They serve a good pint. This is a fine location to walk into Midleton for great food. A nice walk to the distillery as well. We will be back again.

16/03/2025: We had a great stay at the Talbot two nights ago, on our way through Midleton. The friendly and helpful staff were our first impression as we were greeted straight away and helped to our rooms. The room itself was huge and well appointed with comfortable beds and linen. The bathroom was also very big and elegant, with high quality products provided. I enjoyed a nightcap in the lively bar and a great sleep. With plentiful parking and a central location, you can't do better than this and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended if you're visiting the distillery or travelling for work. Check out The Grumpy Bakers for the best pastries on planet earth - it's about a ten minute walk down the road. Can't wait to come back to Midleton again - thanks for a lovely stay.
