Places like Starbucks, which support harmful agendas, create a depressing vibe and drive up prices without adding any real value. It's frustrating to see them occupying space while often remaining empty, especially when they detract from the vibrant local scene.
Instead, let’s focus on uplifting the wonderful local spots that embody community spirit and support causes that matter. Our patronage should go to those who truly care about their customers and the impact they have on the area, rather than those who compromise our values.
22/09/2024: Stopped in for a pumpkin cold brew, the staff were so nice particularly Carly :) I generally don’t like Starbucks coffee but I would come back

01/12/2024: The food was good. Burgers are always lovely.
The service was grand.
You can see the cost cutting in action. Order from the kiosk, which I hate and didn't do. It's only costing people jobs and saving them money.
Nobody wiping tables down and clearing the place. Things that might cost €13 an hour but make a massive difference.
Also, they really need to lock the door into the toilet area again. Can of beamish, roll of tin foil, and a burnt rubber smell in one of the cubicles.
That's crack cocaine.
To summarise, the burger was lovely. Top burger. Way nicer than McDonalds crap. But the premises need a bit of TLC.

16/12/2024: The person making the milk and delivering the coffees yesterday, Sunday, December 15th, was very rude. I also work in a specialty coffee shop, and there’s no need to be rude or impolite when asking someone to move aside while waiting for their order to be ready. Even if the customer is in a spot that blocks the staff, we kindly and politely request they move aside.
12/12/2024: This team was on a special event at our office. Loved the coffee and hot cocoa. Nicolas made a beautiful coffee. Real barista!! Hats off.

27/10/2024: I had the opportunity to enjoy Argentine Independence Day in this place in Dublin, and although I arrived a little late for the meal, a most fun and pleasant party was set up in the interior patio.
Highly recommended if you go with friends to enjoy the party that is being held.
05/10/2024: The best: the waiters! Excellent service. Super generous serving the drinks and super pending of following up on everything.
The atmosphere is fantastic. An absolute discovery

17/12/2024: We spent a lovely afternoon in Toddys Restaurant in the Gresham hotel Dublin. The staff were wonderful. The food was very nice. BUT when it came to giving a TIP the fabulous server informed us they are NOT given any tips which are included in you card payment only if you pay them cash. This is an abuse of their staff. I wonder how many tips are gone to line the pockets of the owners at the cost of some of the lowest paid staff. This is outrageous!!!!! I am so glad we asked the server before we paid the bill.
13/12/2024: I must have walked by Toddy's on my many Trips to Dublin.
This time I decided to go in for lunch.
What a really good restaurant, the food was excellent.
I do have to mention the Apple and Rhubarb crumble it
was amazing.
I had lunch SIX times at Toddys during my visit.

The Bailey's Hot chocolate is lovely!

I'm gay and I came with a friend we thought we'd have a good time. We tried this bar, we never should have.
we have never felt so bad being tourists.
For a place that wants to be warm, this is not the case at all…

02/12/2024: Beautiful place with a lovely view of Dun Laoghaire town and Dublin Bay. Perfect for having a drink and spending some quality time with your near and dear ones. Affordable prices for everything on the menu. The atmosphere and the ambience was really beautiful for any time of the day. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had an amazing time here. I frequently dine in here and I recommend this place to everyone.

23/11/2024: Apparently they will just cancel your Just Eat delivery order for absolutely no reason. No phone call, nothing. What is it about small businesses in Ireland having like zero business acumen? Like at least call me to tell me why you’re cancelling my order you wastes of space
