13/03/2025: Good venue and great beer when you can get served. Staff are poorly trained, pre occupied with each other, inattentive and slow. I’ve spent 3 months in Dún Laoghaire and many days/nights in the forty-foot but nothing changes. Aimless individuals who couldn’t run 20 metres let alone a busy venue such as this. Weatherspoons is a great concept but kids like these will drag it down. The staff have no concept of service standards or commerciality and could turn over twice the food and drink with greater efficiency. The place is littered with empty plates and glasses and there never seems to be any floor management monitoring performance. Table ordering is relatively efficient but don’t go to the bar; you will be ignored and overlooked as the children serving have no concept of priority and randomly choose the “next customer”. On the occasion a pretty girl or handsome guy turns up at the bar, you’ll greatly improve your chance of being served if you stand behind him/her. They’ll be served before anyone else at the bar with a broad smile, you will disappear into the fog. The staff are shallow and the forty-foot is deep how contrary?

19/01/2025: Have to say this is a lovely cafe & equally lovely friendly helpful staff food is lovely always something to eat from baguettes, panini’s, sandwiches, soups & hot food & very inexpensive definitely worth a visit would recommend 100%

27/11/2024: Cafe sol in first floor, Rock building. The tall girl, with glasses, curly hair and tattoo in her on her arms is serving hot food was very rude. I understand that it was lunch time and busy. All the other staff are polite and courteous but that girl is on different level of rudeness.

Places like Starbucks, which support harmful agendas, create a depressing vibe and drive up prices without adding any real value. It's frustrating to see them occupying space while often remaining empty, especially when they detract from the vibrant local scene. Instead, let’s focus on uplifting the wonderful local spots that embody community spirit and support causes that matter. Our patronage should go to those who truly care about their customers and the impact they have on the area, rather than those who compromise our values.

22/09/2024: Stopped in for a pumpkin cold brew, the staff were so nice particularly Carly :) I generally don’t like Starbucks coffee but I would come back

01/03/2025: Bonito lugar para reunirse con amigos para un almuerzo ligero. Personal amable y servicial. He estado aquí varias veces y la comida es generalmente buena y a un precio razonable. ¡En nuestra última visita, había un pelo en la ensalada Cesser! No hicimos un escándalo al respecto, pero lo mencionamos al servidor al final de la comida cuando preguntó si todo estaba bien. Se disculpó, pero no se hizo ningún esfuerzo adicional para abordar esto. Pedimos otra olla de té después, que creo que al menos podrían haber proporcionado sin añadirlo a la factura! Decepcionante visita esta vez, pero espero que solo una vez

18/02/2025: We visited for a late lunch as a non resident. The staff were really lovely and attentive. The food choice was good and the price was very comparable to other restaurants in the area but this is by far a nicer setting. The food was delicious and good size portions too.

16/03/2025: Quiet, dog friendly pub in Blackrock. Very much your old school pub vibes, little rough around the edges, nice staff, fireplace, cozy atmosphere.

04/03/2025: nice, cosy old-style pub with couches, armchairs, real fire. everytime I feel like going for a few quiet pints with a good book tho' it's always a monday or tuesday and closed!

09/03/2025: I went to this shop tonight with me family I ordered a pizza that was undercooked and everything fell off when I picked up a slice, I asked could it be put back in the oven for a few minutes i was told no I ordered a fresh pizza that’s what I got in the box. The chips are cooked in extremely bad fish oil they give a bad taste of fish! Overall not happy with this experience.

18/02/2025: Lovely spot, service excellent. Staff were pleasant. The only issue was it was very cold . Had to leave our coats on. It was hard to relax

21/02/2025: I was out with my friend and I had a wonderful day. Most advised as an austistic and mental health friendly cafe. Zac is so helpful and he is a great help if asked.

25/01/2025: Love the Sandwiches. Coffee is great too. Have not been back since about 3 months ago they appeared to change the sandwiches. They didn't respond to an email regarding this. I'll try again sometime soon to see if they have gone back to the super sandwiches they used to have.

10/01/2025: I have being coming here the past couple months, the staff are lovely coffee is lovely. But to my shock today I was charged 3.95 for flat white, maybe this was always the price and I didn't notice. But sorry folks I won't be back, anymore than 3.50 for flat white is robbery.

05/02/2025: Crosbie Café is the best spot in Dublin. The service is amazing—everyone is incredibly friendly—and the quality of the food and drinks is excellent. Plus, it’s located in a place with stunning views, making the experience even better.

12/01/2025: Hands down the best bar in Dublin! I had such a great time. The owner Rita, was unbelievably welcoming; she was such a lovely and hospitable lady. The rest of the staff were excellent as well. The pizza was very tasty and the great music was the icing on top! Highly recommend!

11/03/2025: A small but very busy place. Great food and equally a good staff. A nice seating arrangement with a clean washroom. It is open till late on weekends. Try their hot chips with salt and lots of vinegar.

27/02/2025: Sadly it’s time to say goodbye to Romayo’s Donnybrook. The last 4 orders have arrived with the wrong bottle of wine, cold pizza, limp chips, and always over an hour from ordering. When I asked for a refund on the missing items I was given ‘points’ in the app which did not equate to the monetary value of the items.

23/11/2024: Apparently they will just cancel your Just Eat delivery order for absolutely no reason. No phone call, nothing. What is it about small businesses in Ireland having like zero business acumen? Like at least call me to tell me why you’re cancelling my order you wastes of space

19/02/2025: El restaurante se beneficia enormemente de un hotel al lado y absolutamente ningún otro lugar para comer en los alrededores. Comida promedio, a precios pretenciosos. Visité un martes por la noche y estaba sentado en el bar, ya que no tenía una reserva. No hay nada malo con eso. Sin embargo había 6 mesas vacías cuando llegué. Y seis vacías cuando me fui, así que ¿por qué forzar el asiento del bar? Las tuberías principales están en su mayoría al norte de 25 euros (38 para un filete), así que esperaba algo un poco especial. Las porciones eran bonitas, preparadas competentemente, y gastopub pequeño. Precio - valor que definitivamente falta aquí. El personal era igualmente agradable y educado. Pero no pude evitar sentir que preferían estar en otro lugar. Quizás avergonzado por las pequeñas porciones y los precios cobrados. Dublín no es una ciudad barata, pero siempre es triste ver a un restaurante subirse al carro, solo porque pueden.

27/03/2025: Opens at 8am. Door open and i walked in at id say 7.58 and he said hes not serving yet. That's fine but was quite rude about it
