17/08/2025: Damien was working as the bouncer tonight and he dropped me and my (intoxicated) friend home. Absolute gent. Excellent female singer out the back tonight. Bar staff were extremely friendly. ❤️

01/01/2026: Very Nice Cafe! Lovely fresh cake and great tasting coffee. Celiac friendly: soups, cookies & gluten free sandwiches. Dogs are allowed! Will come again! The staff could be a bit more smiling, but probably was a busy day.

30/12/2025: Served me raw pancakes with sweet chili sauce on them and wouldnt rectify. I asked at the counter if their pancakes were buttermilk pancakes. He told me they were so I ordered pancakes, bacon & syru. The pancakes were not buttermilk the were crep style. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he just hadn't understood me and I decided I would say nothing. As I took a couple of bites I realised they were undercooked. Then I got a weird taste of garlic and spice. I realised there was a red sauce that must have been sweet chilli sauce all over my food. I went to the counter with the food and explained. He kept telling me it was for decoration. I thought he just didn't understand that the sauce wasn't a strawberry sauce and I was showing him and explaining that he had put the wrong sauce on the plate. He was quiet rude and I eventually realised he did know and had purposely put sweet chili sauce on. I explained that my pancakes now all taste spicy and garlicy and he indicated that he didn't care. I was really upset. I returned to my table with the plate of food. He followed me down with an empty plate and fresh cutlery which I could only assume he gave me to try salvage what wasn't covered in sweet chili sauce. At this point I was so upset I just got up and left. Very disappointing food and really poor way to treat people. I will definitely not be returning.
