The gourmet parlour at the village food fair collooney
07/10/2025: This place is excellent, the staff we met were very pleasant and friendly, the food (especially the apple tarts) is absolutely top notch, this is a fab place for lunch, coffees/treats/cakes etc. Great to see people making a real effort in their food and interactions with customers, fair play all round.
26/09/2025: Great food service. Our experience here was that of kindess at its best.
The waiter noticed my partner was wearing a hospital band around her wrist, and he went above and beyond to accommodate her, and upon our departure he gave her a desert to take with her. Kindness at its best and a small gesture that meant alot.

24/11/2025: First and foremost I wanted to congratulate Jennifer and her team on how the hotel was looking... It was so beautifully decorated for the festive season. I attended the gala ball for the ABI and it was just fantastic from start to finish. The food was out of this world, compliments to the chef and his team. The wait staff were amazing 👏 👏. Its been a long time since I've been so impressed by a hotel and I will be recommending the ocean sands to everyone. I hope to return again soon. I'm visually impaired and delighted to know your hotel is dog friendly also. I brought her with me to stay during the summer and were extremely happy with everything., thank you so much for making it such a magnificent experience for me and I hope to see you all again soon. Have a very happy Christmas. Fiona Kiernan

Osta Café and Wine Bar

25/10/2025: Staff are lovely. However food was disappointing, veggie sandwich which had a laughable amount inside, considering the high price, told staff and sandwich returned still ridiculous small amount of filling. The wait for the food took ages before this even occured so I just ate it when it came back out, unsatisfied after meal. No side salad or anything with small sandwich.
10/10/2025: Lovely friendly staff but every time Ive been in they have forgotten my order. Very frustrating.

Ait Eile

11/02/2025: We had a lovely experience in Ait Eile last weekend. Service was excellent. Lovely choice of wines and the food was superb. I had cod which was absolutely delicious. Others had steak, salmon and a variety of starters. Apart from the steak being a little over cooked, the meal was just a lovely experience.
07/01/2025: I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Ait Eile, firstly I was warmly welcomed in by Tracy. There were lots of options for both adults and kids on the menu. Katie, my server, was really kind and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. After my mains I had a warm brownie dessert, it was unbelievable
Overall I would highly recommend Ait Eile to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming environment to eat.
