12/07/2025: I was visiting Ireland and staying in Moate whilst recerching my ancestry. I came across P Eagans bar whilst out with my dog. Paul and his staff welcomed me with such warmth and dedication. I have no reservations on recommendations for this wonderful traditional Irish pub. Thankyou Paul & staff for making my stay and very rememberable.

13/04/2025: I visited several pubs in Moate and this was my favorite! The bar keep, Paul, was top notch! He even had candy for my kids! Very kind!

03/10/2025: Food was great, the staff are so friendly and attentive. Really reasonably priced menu with good options.
26/09/2025: We had the soup of the day, caprese sandwich, cesare salad and all were brilliant.
