AROMA
Arklow
27/09/2024: We stopped here on our way to Donegal. A bit off the main road, it's behind the craft artists area, but well worth the stop. Great sandwiches and coffee, and we got free soup which was amazing.
10/09/2024: I was there twice on very different trips.
Once with my wife during winter on a road trip and again with a large group of cyclists on a charity cycle across the wild atlant way. Both times the food was excellent, service was super nice and quick and I had a great time. Highly recommended.

10/02/2025: Nice coffee and service. But the facilities need a good scrub and toilets are absolutely filthy.

3 Fiesta Tapas
Bray
07/08/2024: Good coffee, great location right beside the beach, resonable prices and very kind positive and friendly service. We will be back.
21/05/2024: Hard to believe that the place is so busy at 3 pm on a Tuesday afternoon that NO-ONE can answer the phone....
The 'service' aspect is missing from so many services right now that it's comical. Prices are sky high everywhere - you would think staff are trained sufficiently to cover the basics.

Links Restaurant
Arklow
27/08/2024: Great place for groups big or small. Excellent food. I brought 22 teenagers, most of whom had never sat down to a formal 3 course meal. The staff treated our group the same as they would an adult group. Highly recommended

The Garden Rooms & Bar
Newtown mount kennedy
14/07/2024: Visited here a few times whilst staying at druids glen and as it would turn out 3 differing experiences food wise.
Started with Afternoon Tea the day we checked in with petson i was staying at hotel with and it was both our first time having such. The service was top notch. The menu was very tasty across the board and overall very enjoyable.
First evening we quickly realised that in order to avoid sitting in the bar or a long wait reservations are required as it can be busy. Eating in bar wasnt that enjoyable seats way to low which when your over 6ft isnt easy. Food the first night well when you order the steak which on the plus side was cooked the way i liked but was as tough as anything to cut through very sinnuy and you end up saying the garnishes were far more plesent to eat then that aint good for price. Even more so when you wish you had ordered the smoked salmon begal the other person had. Service was good
Second night we had the sense to book but again where we sat made for a challenging experience again due to how low seats were. This made the experience of eatting the very tasty pasta we both ordered an interesting challenge so we didnt spill or drop it. Again though service excellent
The two drink only experiences we excellent. Cocktails are made fresh to order and even made me a mojito which wasnt on menu. A couple of quibbles one wish bulmers was on draft instead of bottle and second wish for rock shandy they had club orange and lemon instead of fanta. Been a whiskey geek decent selection wish they had the local fercullen whiskey range.
Overall enjoyable. Prices a little punchy for bar menu but quality overall excellent apart from the vey chewy, sinnuy hard to cut steak.
06/04/2024: Lovely comfortable setting with very welcoming and friendly staff. Food is basically overpriced bar food with a burger and chips for E25. Children's menu is well below par. Very disappointing. Frozen pizza should never be served in a 5 star hotel! Service fantastic, food mediocre and over-priced.

Mezzanine Cafe
Wicklow
10/09/2024: I am very fond of this cafe which has seats both upstairs and downstairs. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is not a great deal of vegetarian or vegan food however, hence my reason for removing one star. One plus it has over the other cafes in Wicklow is that the tables are nicely spaced out and one has privacy when talking to friends. This review is strictly about the cafe not the shop. I do not buy from the shop.

Carpe Diem Bray
Bray
16/03/2025: Went out for a birthday, were a very quiet group no trouble at all. Staff are brilliant bar staff and bouncers apart from one staff member who wears no uniform is very hair deficient and has a thick bone density. He swears and squares up to his customers for absolutely no reason. Its disgusting behaviour clearly has some mental problems or drinking problems, ruins the place.
21/02/2025: There for weekend.
Hotel, food and staff lovely could be best Hotel in Bray only for stayed in room with private hot tub which should have been amazing but for damp smell. From far too much chlorine in tub, still washing clothes threw out some from smell that stuck to everything in room, damp smell was also in hotel lobby, needs to be addressed, just a pity because overall nicest hotel in Bray.

Kitchen
Baltinglass
22/08/2024: I've seen some of the less than positive reviews and have to say it doesn't match with my experience at all. The food I had was very good, service pretty good too and prices were ok. Would definitely go back.
