The best restaurantsof pizza & pasta in Dublin

15/07/2026: Nice Italian style cafe. Napoli never disappointed as a regular customer for years. Nice coffee, staff and pizza. The service in the restaurant downstairs sometimes leaves something to be desired but don’t let that stop a visit.

13/07/2026: I dropped into this cafe as I had time to kill before attending a function close by. While I can’t fault the service and very much enjoyed sitting outside in the sun, I couldn’t believe being charged €11 for a simple, quite ordinary glass of wine. I consider that completely unreasonable, even by today’s Dublin standards. Clearly, the much vaunted recent VAT cut has not found its way to the customer in this instance…

30/07/2026: Solid chipper, nice chicken fillet burger meal, garlic sauce was good, cod meal , very fresh and excellent real cod !!! Mild Curry sauce was epic old school !! 0 complaints. Very good chipper.

05/08/2026: Literally my favourite pizza on the planet, after travelling to over 120 countries and 7 continents Firehouse waa my comfort food for 14 years. I hope they're not out of business.

04/05/2026: Unfortunately, it was only takeaway, but overall we were very impressed. The pizza was delicious, and the dip was very tasty. There was also plenty of topping.

28/06/2026: Pizza too expensive for what they offer. It isn’t bad, but the small pizza is tiny, and already expensive. To eat properly you need the larger pizza that would be almost €20.

28/06/2026: Had the carrot cake at Pete's in Sandymount and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, moist, and full of flavour. One of the better carrot cakes I've had in a while.

18/06/2026: I had the strawberry Nutella pancakes from Pete’s of Sandymount, and they were really good. The pancakes were soft and warm, and the Nutella with fresh strawberries worked well without being overly sweet. Staff were also really friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and pleasant.

05/08/2026: In my case, I ordered a pepperoni pizza without tomato sauce. I thought they might have a problem with it, but no, they were very friendly and even asked if I wanted a different sauce than the regular tomato one. I didn't have high expectations since it's a fast-food place, but to my surprise, the pizza was delicious and it came with fries!

13/06/2026: An unassuming place in the heart of Dublin that really surprised me. The entrance might not be inviting, but the full tables are probably the best recommendation—you can immediately tell this place has its loyal fans. It's also clear that the guys really put in the effort and put their heart into what they do. The food is delicious, and the pizza is truly excellent—though I'd warn you, it's not for those on a diet, as it definitely has plenty of calories 😉 Despite its unassuming appearance from the outside, this bistro is definitely worth a visit!

08/07/2026: Great food with authentic desi flavours! The dishes were fresh, tasty, and full of flavour. The staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious desi food!

07/07/2026: I ordered my food and when I showed up they said that they hadn’t received the order. I called the number in front of them and the phone rang and they continued to act like I hadn’t just placed my order. Fast forward to when they serve me my food, a large kebab, one of the worst I’ve ever had. Dry as a bone. Tasteless. Unbalanced. Go next door, I have more faith in them.

29/06/2026: Ordered Veg Pizza, Spicy bag and shredded chicken for the first time and the taste was amazing… I even ordered the second time and the food was good

22/06/2026: Pizza was very good and done very quick. I went to pick up the food myself and the people there were very kind, I didn’t have to wait at all for my food which is lovely. Definitely enjoyed it!
