07/09/2026: I went in with an open mind knowing it was french style, but the flavours were overly sweet and it was not the gourmet dish I was expecting. With that said, the place has a lovely ambience and staff were friendly. Go for the pastries, not for the pizza.

27/06/2026: We ordered two pizzas to go. An Italian guy served us, but when we picked up the pizzas, a Spanish guy helped us. I asked him if he needed the receipt to check our order, and he said no. I insisted, and he told me he knew what we’d ordered, so we trusted him. When we got to our picnic spot, they didn’t give us the sauce we’d paid for, nor any napkins. It was only €2 plus a few cents, so we didn’t go back . In any case, always double check your order, even if the server insists he knows what you ordered.

04/10/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Reccommed by our son Finlay who has been a few times! The pizzas at Uno were incredible—just like authentic Italian pizza. Oh, and don't even get me started on the desserts! We tried the cannoli, chocolate cake, and profiteroles, and every single one of them was gorgeous. Highly recommended!

17/10/2026: My Experience at Sano Pizza 🍕 Overall, the food at Sano Pizza was excellent, and the quality of the pizzas was definitely one of the highlights of my visit. The pizzas were delicious, full of flavour, and very well prepared. The salads were also very good, fresh, and enjoyable. From a food perspective, I was very satisfied, and the kitchen certainly deserves credit for the quality of what they serve. Unfortunately, the customer service I received from the waiter who attended to me was disappointing. He did not seem particularly attentive or interested in providing good customer service. When we asked for two different types of sauces, he did not clearly explain which sauces he was bringing us, leaving us unsure about what we were being served. It was a small detail, but it made the service feel careless and lacking in attention. Interestingly, when I went to the bathroom, I had a much more positive interaction with other members of staff, who were noticeably friendlier and more welcoming. This made the contrast even more apparent, as the restaurant clearly has staff who understand the importance of treating customers well. It is a shame that the service did not match the quality of the food, because the pizzas and salads were genuinely excellent. A restaurant experience is about more than just what comes out of the kitchen; it is also about feeling welcome, receiving attentive service, and having staff who are willing to help and communicate clearly. In conclusion, Sano Pizza deserves praise for its delicious pizzas and very good salads, but the customer service from the waiter who served us needs improvement. With a little more attention to customers, better communication, and a friendlier attitude, the overall dining experience could be much better. I would happily praise the food, but I hope the service improves to match the excellent standard of the dishes.

17/10/2026: I went with my husband for lunch and the staff were incredibly rude. The pizzas were very good, but the staff were awful; they seemed to have bad attitudes the whole time. The service was terrible. I won't be back.

25/09/2026: Really nice little pizza joint if you want a casual meal and a cocktail. Pizza was really nice, atmosphere is lovely and cosy. I'd recommend.

24/09/2026: Loved the pizza - I got the Locard and hubby got pepperoni, we both thoroughly enjoyed them. This is inside a pub and must be popular bc reserved tables inside and outside tables were 90% full at 1700 on a Thursday. Music playing was not my thing. Stayed for the yummy pizza and very much enjoyed.

31/08/2026: Terrible experience. I was misled by the fact that the menu states that their gluten-free dough is made in-house rather than being a pre-made base. This led me to believe that they knew what they were doing when it came to gluten-free pizza, cross-contamination and coeliac disease. When ordering, I was told that despite the dough being gluten-free, the pizza would be cooked in the same wood-fired oven as the regular pizzas, without even using an aluminium tray. At that point, I asked them to remove my pizza from the order, but I politely asked them to make this information clear on their website, because as someone with coeliac disease, I expected a completely different level of awareness and organisation. The response left me speechless. I was told that there was no need to cook the pizzas in separate areas because gluten is “neutralised” by high temperatures, and that other people with coeliac disease had eaten their pizzas without any problems. If gluten were actually neutralised by heat, what would be the point of preparing gluten-free dough in the first place? Coeliac disease simply wouldn’t exist… The staff’s arrogance and the fact that they tried to lecture me about how my own condition works, after 26 years of living with coeliac disease, was absolutely infuriating. You cannot fool someone who has been coeliac for 26 years with the story that gluten is neutralised by heat — but someone who has only recently been diagnosed might actually believe it. Disgusting.

17/08/2026: Had a drink here 27 years ago while visiting family who use to live in the New row. The pub has changed for the times and has a lovely feel. Love the outdoor sitting area at the front. Had a pizza which was wonderful.

03/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent experience with Pizza Max Drumdrum! My order arrived very quickly, and the food was still hot, exactly as it should be. The pizza was delicious and the overall quality was excellent. I’d also like to give a special mention to the delivery driver, Arian. He was very friendly, polite, and welcoming. Great customer service like this really makes a difference. I’ll definitely be ordering from Pizza Max Drumdrum again. Highly recommended!
