Driver's at the 19th

29/06/2025: The staff were very friendly. There were 4 of us (2 adults + 2 kids) We got Sunday roast. Place was quiet but we had to wait 40 minutes for food. Very disappointed overall. The vegetables were so over cooked they went to mush. On menu it said kids meals, (which were on the small side) were 10 euro. I was charged 12.50. I queried it. I was told the menus haven't been updated yet. When I ordered I wasn't told about the price change. Really not good enough. It's a pity as the place has potential but they will lose a lot of customers as they don't care about the small things. I for one won't be back. Over priced considering quality and quantity of food.
18/06/2025: From The Bunker and now to the Driver's, my family and I always love our food from this crowd. Definitely our favourite place for a good grub around town.

Food was scrumptious, portion size adequate & fairly priced. Value for money,
Shoutout to Mylo who gave us an amazing customer service, Thanks for taking our family photo & multiple shots was a creative idea.
Will definitely recommend & keep coming for more

16/06/2025: We stayed here on Saturday night. Rooms are lovely, quaint and cosy but very clean and well maintained. Shower was excellent.
Beautiful old house with fabulous gardens but you can still walk to town.
Breakfast was superb, everything was hot and service was attentive.
A bit hard to locate a receptionist but we weren’t in a hurry and they were so pleasant when we did.
11/06/2025: Beautiful location and gardens,you would totally forget your in a town.
We installed our 10x15m stretch tent with matted flooring.

12/03/2025: We had an evening meal here. The services were excellent. A lot of salt / seasoning used on elements of food, particularly starter warm bread. Perhaps more noticeable as we do not use salt at home. Meals we had were excellent...., BUT we still can not accept or figure out why a steak attracts such a high supplementary charge almost everywhere in Ireland.. I just can not figure out or justify this practice. The garden room is lovely but was a tad cool to dine in (We're not heat fanatics ), We overheard others comment re this also. Perhaps a fire effect heater might help. A lovely dining experience and meal overall.

11/04/2025: One of the most gorgeous coffee spots I’ve ever been too, the atmosphere is divine, the staff are not only beautiful but the friendliest bubble crew. I had a coconut iced matcha and it was €2 cheaper any other place I’ve been to and one of the nicest I’ve had in a long while. The design, use of space and colour to create several seating areas, it’s a fantastic example of how small spaces can be used instead of being a tiny car park. Didn’t get any sweet treats but they looked incredible. 10/10 will be coming back

15/06/2025: Had an amazing dinner here today. We had tried some where else first but they were closed and it turned out for the best. My boyfriend had the steak sandwich with whiskey sauce which he said was amazing and I had garlic mushrooms and chips that was delicious. Every part of our meal was perfect and this is now our new go to place in Clonmel 😊 great cosy bar atmosphere and lovely staff.

16/06/2025: I won our stay in a competition from Beat and we absolutely loved our stay!! The room was fantastic, the facilities were amazing and the food was gorgeous I just wish there was more it was soooo tasty. Would highly recommend a stay here.
16/06/2025: Everything was top, staff friendly and helpful, room was clean, pool facilities were good and clean, breakfast buffet was standard but done the job. The only big issue was the heat in the room, window was wide open, we had the Dyson fan on from start of stay until we left the room and the room was still too hot. Toilet seat was unsecure.

26/04/2025: Organised a hen party here recently and I highly recommend! Ronan was so hospitable and hands on from the moment I texted enquiring about hosting it there. We did the cocktail class and it was a hit throughout! Fabulous cocktails that everyone enjoyed. Ronan is an incredible mixologist!! Thanks so much for making the organising a total breeze!! And thank you to all the kind, pleasant staff who made the night a total success, we will be back!

17/06/2025: This place was fabulous, big portions and lots of sauce for those of us that like to dunk out chips.
Staff were lovely, price wise was good value.
12/05/2025: Not impressed. The service was efficient but neither polished or particularly friendly. The food portions were very generous but the food was far too bland for our liking. The chicken and mushroom was more like a chicken casserole whilst the chicken in black bean sauce was more tasty but very salty. Being English we are used to a wide choice of excellent Chinese restaurants in the UK and we felt this was a poor match to what we are use to. It was also expensive by UK standards but that is par for the course in Ireland. Won't go again. We had a takeaway a few years back and were also disappointed.
