16/01/2025: The food here is consistently excellent. You can always get a table, with the river view ones being the best. The restaurant & toilets have lovely decor. Well taken care of here.

16/02/2025: A Beautiful Waste of a Restaurant – Style Over Substance I really wanted to like this place. Walking in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the decor was spot on, and the staff were genuinely friendly. For a moment, I thought I had found a new favorite spot. Then the food arrived—and that illusion shattered like an overcooked piece of beef hitting a plate. I ordered a steak sandwich, expecting something at least edible. Instead, what I got was a crime against both steak and sandwiches. The beef was dry, chewy, and flavorless, like someone had cooked it with the sole purpose of punishing my jaw. The bread? Just a sad, uninspired vessel for disappointment. No seasoning, no effort, no reason to exist beyond being overpriced. How does a restaurant get everything but the food right? It’s like they spent their entire budget on decor and forgot they actually had to serve meals. I wouldn’t be surprised if the chef was just a guy off the street who wandered into the kitchen and started burning meat for fun. If you’re looking for a place with great ambiance and friendly staff, by all means, grab a drink here. But if you’re even remotely interested in eating something that won’t make you question your life choices, go literally anywhere else.

19/05/2024: Really loved this restaurant-booked it last minute and didn’t have time to check it out too much but I was really impressed with the Ambience, the staff and most definitely the food! The food was next level and I absolutely adored it especially the goats cheese starter. All round excellent experience and it made a very enjoyable evening.

24/02/2025: This is a top notch restaurant, Irish food that is very good, and there is a good extensive menu with something for old kinds of people. Definitely worth a visit if in Thurles

11/02/2025: We booked a weekend at Ryan’s Daughter and absolutely loved it. The rooms were very warm and spacious. The host Gary was amazing and made us feel right at home. The breakfast each morning was incredibly delicious and a great touch. This place is in a great spot and was very convenient. Would 100% recommend this to anyone and we will definitely be back.

12/03/2025: Just enjoyed, I think, the best chips I've ever had in my life, with a delicious lasagne with side of vegetables; thick cut, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle, and just the right amount of salt. I think I'm in love 🥰. Great Guiness and Sauvignon Blanc, great service. Very authentic Irish pub!

12/11/2024: Had dinner here with my children. Lovely menu. Something for everyone and very reasonably priced. Visit regularly with colleagues for lunch, never disappointed.
