29/06/2025: Good local bar, very friendly staff.

28/05/2025: Saturday night, only 10 people in the bar and no atmosphere didn't even finish my drink got out of there

03/08/2025: You'll pay for the location on a sunny day, with the lovely seafront facing patio, not for the food or service. Food takes forever to arrive, chips were not hot (they must precook them and leave them under the light), kids burger was inedible, really poor quality, we just thought our daughter wasn't hungry, other items (pizzas, wings) barely edible, bread was fresh and chowder decent but the price tags don't remotely reflect the quality (burger €19, fish and chips €28, pizza €18...) Didn't bother complaining as we didn't want to wait ages again to get items replaced or a manager to show up. They weren't even massively busy. The young staff are friendly and they do try, but they are let down by the kitchen and management.

26/07/2025: Went there on a hot sunny day. Sat out on the deck and it felt like I was in Greece or Portugal. The food was very nice.

15/06/2025: I made a booking over the phone for an early evening meal at 5 pm at Brooklyn, Tramore to celebrate my elderly mother in-law's birthday. I was asked if I would be okay with returning the table by 6.30. However, when we arrived at 5pm and were seated at the table we were told they needed the table back by 6.00pm. When I protested that I had been told 6.30, I was told no it was 6. I was contemplating trying to find somewhere else, which would have been very difficult at that stage on Saturday night when the same member of waiting staff came back and without any apology told me oh it was 6.30 but they really needed the table back sooner, so if we could finish up earlier, it would be better. The food and atmosphere was fine, but I definitely won't be going back!

03/05/2025: Fabulous on all aspects of our visit. Pizza and fish pie are top class. Really good wine. And the staff are 10/10. Would totally recommend and go back.

16/04/2025: An amazing gem of a restaurant, with a fantastic view of the sea! Great menu & beautiful food. Fish very fresh. Dessert was homemade & delicious Staff were very friendly and helpful Would highly recommend this restaurant

11/07/2025: Was in Tramore today, first time in a very long time and we had a craving for some nice fish and chips by the sea. Spent €26.30 for fish and chips for 2 and one 500ml bottle of coke, the chips were OK, nothing to write home about, but alright, however the fish was appalling, tasteless mushy grey fish, definitely frozen and not fresh, €26 euro for fish & chips x 2 was expensive in the first place, but had the food been good I would not have minded. Lesson learned and will never return. I highly do not recommend.

25/07/2025: Bad experience today here. Ordered a latte for here. I sat down outside. Only one lady sitting on her own with no food or drink. After I sat she told me I couldn't sit there. I said I am a customer..just bought latte so I could enjoy the sea view. She said I had to leave when her friends came. I said no as I was the only customer there ..had already bought coffee. She was very rude and mentioned getting security! I said fine as I am the only paying customer here...her 4 friends arrived 20 minutes later and accosted a different lady and called her a racist. Then he turned on me. I said I would call guards re harassment. So much for a nice quiet coffee by the beach. Awful. The guy serving came out about 20 minutes later and told ME that anyone could sit there! The others were long gone. Poor management and no respect for customers. Have been a regular visitor. First very bad experience!

14/07/2025: Absolutely disgraceful this place should be shut down!!! Myself and my partner and 2 freinds and my 3 month old baby attended this “restaurant “ for dinner , we ordered and the food that we had got brought out to us was dog food to say the least! We ordered 2 extra well done steaks , they came out dripping of blood , one roast beef we also ordered and I can’t even explain the slop that was brought out to us as a “roast beef” this was like a rubber rasher steak the smell of it was vile like it was out of date , it was served to us in a place SWIMMIMG in water and oil!!! And 2 burned roasties and a Yorkshire , my partner and the rest of us sent our food back to be made properly like we had asked before we ordered as we sent it back we sat there listening to the chef/owner screaming at his staff which bare in mind where 17-19 year old young girl telling them it’s there fault the foods not nice not his yet he’s the one cooking it? My partner then asked could he ordered something else as the so called roast beef we got was uneditable and as that the owner/chef came running down the stairs screaming and shouting saying “ where’s this man who said my beef is disgusting” my partner then told him it was horrible and shouldn’t be served to people worst we have seen I thought he send it out as a joke! He then screamed at 4 of us while my 3 month old baby sat in her pram telling us all to get out if we didn’t like the food , I then stood up and said it was not ok to scream and make my baby cry he’s a grown man and how dare he and he proceeded to tell me he “didn’t care about my baby and to get out” This had to be one of the worst experiences in my life going to a restaurant we then headed to another bar after we left and the locals and other bars had told us that this so called “chef “ and the owner of this bar was an absolute disappointment of a man , I had rang back after to ask the women who I think was manager was there cctv of this act that he pulled and she then told me we haven’t got any camera so if I’m being honest it doesn’t seem like the first incident this man had with paying customers! I highly recommend not to waste ur time and money going to this place as I really think with previous reviews this place should be shut down!!! And should definitely have a food inspection in there also as I think he’s serving gone off meat to people as this food was absolutely atrocious!!!!

16/06/2025: Definitely better than #9 in Tramore, the Beach House is a small, cozy place to get wonderful freshly prepared elegant seafood — with their specialty being fantastic fish & chips — far far better than a chipper though. They also have oysters and mussels and such, with great desserts too. Highly recommended, with a terrific staff.

23/03/2025: Food is always Delicious but there must be a different cook .got take away last night and it's not the same ,not good. Just didn't taste as nice ,there were chunks of under cooked peppers in my food , there's never peppers in this dish.pilau rice was sticky and luke warm.Not the usual gorgeous food we are used to from voujon.

14/07/2025: Place was recommended to my wife by her friend... Unfortunately, a long queue does not mean good food... I have to agreed with some of the reviews - tasteless fish and chips (not sure what kind of vinegar and salt they are using but couldn't feel any... Also, way to much batter!) As a person who loves fish and chips I was very disappointed...

01/07/2025: Got simple order wrong when the place was quite and the Shredded chicken was more like rubber chicken would not order again
